Responsibilities:

• Responsible for animal husbandry and maintenance of various transgenic mouse models
• Prepare animal protocols such as drafting of IACUC amendment and SOPs for institutional approval
• To perform molecular biology techniques, such as genotyping (DNA work), PCR and gel electrophoresis
• Assist in daily lab activities such as preparation of buffers and administrative duties
• Maintain accurate records of mice genotype results, experimental data, or related paperwork

Requirements:

• BS degree in Biology, Biotechnology, or related field
• Previous experience as lab technician desirable
