RESPONSIBILITIES

• Donor-funded Scholarships
  • The job holder will work with his/her team to manage the end-to-end process from scholarship application to award and disbursement.
  • He/She will conduct selection committees and work with the various Schools and Office of Advancement on selection and donor concurrence.
  • He/She will also conduct an Academic Review after each term to determine the status of the scholars' eligibility to continue with their scholarships.
• MOE Scholarships
  • The job holder will work with Admissions and MOE on awarding of the ASEAN scholarships and S&T scholarships.
  • The job holder will conduct a briefing to MOE scholars at SMU at the beginning of each Academic Year and assist scholars on auxiliary expenses that are part of their awards.
  • He/She will also keep track of the scholars' academic performance and eligibility to continue with their scholarships.
• Non-Tuition Fee Schemes, Loans, and Work Study Grants
  • The job holder will also oversee activities required to award non-tuition fee related schemes to SMU students such as study mission grants, exchange scholarships and community service project grants.
  • The job holder will work with Finance to assist students with loan applications such as Tuition Fee Loans (TFL) and Study Loans.
  • For work study grants, the job holder will work with hiring offices and HR to hire qualifying students for the Work on Campus programme.
• Outreach/Marketing effort and customer service
  • The job holder will be responsible for outreach presentation and talks, participate in SMU Open House and other events as part of a joint OAFA effort alongside the admissions team.
  • The job holder and his/her team will manage enquiries (phone calls, emails, walk-ins, appointments) from prospective students/parents and current students/parents.
• Student Awards
  • Each year CSFA serves as secretariat to facilitate the selection of Valedictorian/Salutatorian, coordinating with the interview panel and shortlisted interviewees.
  • The job holder will work with schools and RO to enrol students into ISIS for academic and non- academic awards

• Degree with at least 10 years of administrative work experience (preference for prior experience in higher education or governmental organisation.)

In this role, you will be part of the Development Secretariat team to support the Hospital Planning Committee (HPC) in the planning, coordination, development and management of Eastern General Hospital and Eastern Community Hospital (EGH Campus). You will support the Deputy Director (Hospital and Services Planning) to ensure that the execution, budget and quality of the development are in accordance with the established program, which includes end-user briefs, operations requirements, systems design with technology partners, guidelines and project timelines. Additionally, you will facilitate workshops, coordination meetings with various project stakeholders and reporting to HPC.

Job requirements

• Bachelor degree in Architectural, Engineering or related fields
• Minimum 8 years of related work experience and demonstrated competency (with at least 2 years of managerial / supervisory experience)
• Knowledge and skill in design thinking, change management, project management, process and technology adoption methodologies, would be a strong advantage
• Familiar with hospital operations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to engage various stakeholders
• Team player, highly motivated and action-oriented with excellent planning, analytical and critical thinking skills
• Able to work under pressure, adapt to change and manage challenges
• Familiar with AutoCAD, Photoshop and presentation software.

Responsibilities:

• Administrative work relating to providing patients with medical services;

• Dealing with payments/insurance claims with regard to medical services rendered to patients;
• Administrative work relating to medisave / private integrated plans submissions;
• Communication with insurance company representative, clinic staff, accountants, patients and relatives with regards to claims;
