Job Description

• Position: Operation Assistant
• Singapore's leading seafood processors, exporters and distributors
• Working hours: 5.5 days (Monday to Friday, 8am – 5.30pm; Saturday 8am – 12noon)
• Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $1,800 basic salary + OT + Meal provided
• Working Location: Jurong
• Outpatient Medical & Dental Benefits Provided
• Duration: Permanent
• Industry: Processing and preserving of seafood

Main Responsibilities:

• Perform Loading & unloading of goods with contractors.
• Inspect food shipments for temperature, hygiene, quality, shelve life, labelling and marking requirements.
• Perform counts, weights, and case packs of incoming shipments to verify information against purchase orders.
• Perform put away for cargo received into proper warehouse locations.
• Perform picking internal requisitions from warehouse locations and execute internal distribution.
• Perform monthly stock taking to ensure accurate inventory.
• Operating forklift while ensuring safe handling of cargoes.

Requirements:

• Preferably with hands-on experience in Manufacturing Production Department.
• Candidate are required to load and unload goods at 10-20kg.
• Forklift license and experience will advantage.
• Able to commit overtime when needed.
• Able to work in cold environment (+- 15°C).

Our client is a Water Treatment Industry. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Purchasing Assistant to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the West.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage data input, analytics, and maintenance of the Procurement Department’s electronic folders.
• Conduct clerical and administrative tasks within the Procurement Department.
• Assist and support the team with quotation and tender activities.
• Utilize internal Purchase Requisitions to identify and process purchase requirements, ensuring accurate information for the Purchase Order process.
• Monitor and expedite Purchase Orders with vendors.
• Communicate order status updates to internal stakeholders.
• Ensure proper filing and archiving of Vendor Registration documentation.
• Confirm goods receipt for Purchase Orders upon delivery.
• Perform additional duties as required, aligned with the role.

Requirements:

• Possess at least “O" Level or Diploma/ITE certification in Office Skills or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel)
