• Using periodic data analysis of historic performance, market, category and brand trends to provide commercial analysis and recommendations on sales plans and stock
• Development of merchandise and financial plans on optimizing sales and profitability with a product offer that can deliver optimal inventory ROI
• Planning future company purchases based on historic performance, trend, strategic and tactical initiatives, seasonality and commercial opportunities
• Sales forecasting and stock replenishment for new and existing products
• Assist in risk assessment and mitigation activities.
• Onboarding Process - SKU upload into ERP and opening order creation
• Order and OTB management including creation, shipping and good receipt processes
• Support shipping and logistics to ensure stock supply is managed in the most cost-efficient manner
• Coordination with Product and Operations teams on the smooth flow of stock including clearance of stock, bonded stock management and conversion of duty free to duty paid
• Stock management and health including batch management, defective and returns
• Consignment vendor management – sales and inventory management
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels based on current and future customer demands.
• Maintain demand planning processes and systems to improve forecasting accuracy
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Business, Supply Chain Management or related field
- At least 4 years of experience in relevant industries like travel retail or ecommerce retail
- Able to work with cross-functional teams to achieve company goals
- Track record of managing various products across different product lines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Good understanding and advanced approach to ERP systems and database.
