Key Responsibilities:

· The Production Planner is first point contact for customer services in relation to queries in regards to lead times, scheduling and delivery for orders related to production. They are responsible for issuing and tracking of work orders, communicate with internal customers (as well as external customers upon required) of the orders and other requirement and response promptly of the planning and information of job completion in advance. They are also responsible for expediting and prioritizing work orders and coordinating and managing weekly and monthly production and resources planning.

· Understand and analyze of sales order releases with respect to in-house production (Threading, Duct, and material requirements);

· Contact and follow up with customer services and/or customers for complete information whenever required;

· Reviews Master Production Schedule and work orders, expediting and prioritizing work orders and revises schedule according to work order specifications;

· Coordinates and expedites the placement of purchase for tools, material and service and/or delivery of material;

· Preparation of the Production related delivery DO in the ERP system and making the arrangement with logistics partner for delivery;

· Coordinate work order scheduling with Production Supervisor/Leader/Lead Operator;

· Schedules and coordinates within or between departments (sales, inventory, production and logistic) to expedite production and delivery;

· To follow up work orders and notify customer service, sales or customers of availability/lead-times or any activity concerning their order status;

· Initiates replacement orders for lost, damaged or discrepant items;

· Support manufacturing practices such as Lean Manufacturing strategies.

· Managing and preparing daily, weekly and monthly production schedule and reports.

· Assisting with generating purchase order, close follow up on the receipt of goods ensuring in line with agreed timelines;

· Coordinating with Sub-Contractor for services, close monitoring and follow up to ensure agreed deadlines are met;

Job Scope:

• Work closely with Supply Chain and Business Units on daily operation matters.
• Review MRP and material demand to perform material planning to purchase imported chemicals/equipment.
• Monitor inventory, review PO backlog and generate daily receiving lists to the warehouse.
• Plan, control, and trigger material movement via STO with 3PL.
• Ensure timely delivery of material to support the plant's operation and customer's shipment demands.
• Analyze and close monitoring of excess and obsolete inventory.
• Manage forecast accuracy, review safety stock requirement.
• Support cost-saving initiatives and process improvement.

Working as part of the experienced API Production Planning Team, you will help transform the future of API Production Planning both on Site and within the wider Global Supply Chain Network. Your role will make the Breakthroughs possible and bring medicine to patients faster.

Working with a dynamic team of Production Planning experts, both on Site and in the Supply Chain Network, the API Production Planner is responsible for all activities related to:

• Transforming the API Production Planning Processes to deliver a Standardized Production Planning Model for API and achieve an E2E system-based planning Ecosystem.
• Working with Global Production Planning Process Teams to drive continuous improvement and deploy new capabilities/tools and metrics to ensure a system-based planning Ecosystem.
• Long Range Planning (Demand, Supply, inventories, and capacity) · Supply Chain orchestration (supporting global brand S&OPs, production volume budgeting and LEs)

Position Responsibilities

The API Planning Team interfaces and receives input from the Global product teams (PPLs/BSLs) on long range forecasts, regulatory strategy and other strategic product needs and develops a feasible and balanced supply plan in accordance with agreed service levels and target inventories, capacity plans and identified constraints. Using this interface and in close partnership with the site, the API Production Planner will be responsible for the following:

• Transforming the API Production Planning Processes  Collaborating with Site and Network based teams to map current state planning processes and develop a Standard Work playbook for One Best Way to API Production Planning.
• Working as part of a team to help Nurture and embed a CI culture and deploy new tools/systems to help simplify the planning processes and make things easier to get done.
• Act as a key enabler to the IMEx based Ecosystem to ensure a standardized, tiered, visible approach to API Production Planning
• Develop and support work processes to facilitate the integration of production planning process with nGPS
• Long Range Planning
• Lead the development of a multiyear supply and inventory plan incorporating input from multiple stakeholders, including Global product teams (PPLs/BSLs), New products team, plant Value Streams, regulatory and PGS Strategy teams
• Lead elements of the current state Planning Processes (VSP), identify capacity constraints and cross-functional actions required to achieve the Production Plan. Develops capacity plans (Utilization Matrixes) and identifies long range capacity requirements.
• Partner with Site and Network teams in Technical and Strategic Plan Assessments to facilitate tradeoffs across requirements from strategic brand requirements, New product launches, API variant and manufacturing network changes
• Demand/Capacity management 
• In collaboration with Site and Cross Site teams, e.g. DP Sites, monitor and validate monthly demand signal changes and analyzes the results with the planning team to evaluate the impacts and address any concerns with stakeholders.
• Track inventories and Safety Stocks and Reports any demand changes with budget / LE implication in terms of volumes and capacity.
• Develop input for Site and Off-site Tier’d meetings (Supply Governance metrics, LE forecasts, capacity risks, etc)
• Depending on the Horizon, conduct 'handshake' meetings, at the agreed frequency, with the Supply Chain team to discuss priorities and to monitor / control schedule break-ins

• As part of the Planning Processes, develops, issues and maintains Plan of Record (Production Plan) to enable manufacture of planned campaigns.

Education Qualification
