PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Planner is responsible for planning, inventory management, just in time planning, material requirements planning, and production activity control. Identifies any stopper in meeting the delivery schedule and customer commitment. Defines and coordinates manufacturing planning strategy with production and stakeholder by establishing overall and weekly production schedule with value stream. Establishes and maintains time fences for job order items. Performs rough cut capacity planning. Coordinates planning strategy with Master Planner and Production Controller.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Review and provide report for firmed and planned sales order and align schedule per production capacity and product type.
2. Create and update the production schedule for long and short term horizon.
3. Conduct weekly planning meeting with value stream and Master Planner.
4. Review and renew planning data and parameters in VM systems (including: BOM, Material Master data, routing, and work centre) and ensure that standard work processes are strictly adhered to.
5. Review overall loading plan with master planner and release new work order as per schedule line.
6. Ensure to review material status, BOM, router, pick list , consumables needed prior releasing any job order to production controller
7. Responsible in updating work instructions, planning procedures and ensure team compliance in specs procedure.
8. Ensure that production in the firm period meets agreed customer demands.
9. In alignment with Production schedule, oversee customer sales order execution. Ensure clarity of necessary information from sales/ customer before execute in planning. Escalate any issues to Supply Chain manager and Sales Team for any dispute items.
10. To identify and implement cost savings alternatives and process improvements for existing operations.
11. Manage production controller and ensure planning KPI’s are well executed and monitored.
12. Responsible to review any ECN & customer PO changes
13. In charge of Review and weekly update of SDQC with the management.
14. Monitor MRP and that materials are ordered timely and monitored effectively to meet production requested arrival date.
15. Ensures 5S is implemented in the work area.
16. Adheres company’s guidelines with regards to Safety and Quality.
17. Complies to Company Code of Business Conduct.
18. Promote and participate in company-wide or departmental programs such as:
· Total Quality Management, Lean Manufacturing
· Social Activities

QUALIFICATION GUIDE
1. Education : Minimum Diploma in Supply Chain/Engineering or any related course.
2. Communication : Fluent both in Oral and written English communication
3. Experience : Minimum 3 years work experience in planning, manufacturing
4. Hardware/Software : ERP Software, MS Office particularly Excel (pivot, vlookup)
