Job Purpose:

The General Foreman (Food Processing) is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of our food processing facility. He/she is to supervise production activities, and monitor the staff’s performance. He/she must also ensure that all safety and quality standards are met.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Monitoring employee attendance, performance, and productivity to ensure that all staff members are performing their jobs efficiently.

Determining the required manpower, and assign workers to carry out the duties to complete specific tasks. Likewise, to supervise the co-workers and helping them in their work.

Establishing work schedules and ensuring that co-workers are following them, as well as addressing issues that may arise during the workdays.

Determining sequence of daily operations, and the use of proper tools / equipment. Overseeing the safety of the food preparation process by inspecting equipment and facilities to ensure safety standards are fulfilled.

Providing training to staff members on food safety practices and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.

Identifying areas for improvement in work processes, and to implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency.

Any other work as assigned.

The Deputy General Manager will be responsible under GM of Japanese national for overseeing the strategic direction and operational management of the HR, and administration functions within the organization. Human Resources

• Management: Oversee and approve payment-related HR activities, such as payroll. Play a key role in the annual increment and bonus exercises, with assistance from a Senior HR Officer.

General Affair

• ISO Representation: Serve as the Management Representative for ISO 37000 and CISO (Chief Information Security Officer) for ISO 27000 standards, ensuring compliance and effective implementation across relevant operations.
• Administrative Leadership: Lead the administration team in managing intra-company agreements, expatriate tenancy matters, mobile device and service arrangements, car booking system, ACRA compliance and handling other ad-hoc tasks assigned to administrative personnel.
• Office Management: Oversee day-to-day office operations, ensuring a productive, efficient, and well-organized working environment, while implementing best practices for office management and facilities maintenance.
• Events Planning and Coordination: Lead committee to plan, coordinate and execute company events that foster engagement, collaboration, and a positive work environment.

Others

• Support the Head of Department on an as-needed basis by providing advice and reporting on the progress of business development projects across the Asia Regional Headquarters.

(A) Minimum Qualifications/ Job Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in related field; an MBA or other relevant advanced degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in accounting principles, HR best practices, and administrative functions.
• Proven experience as the above-described position or in a similar executive leadership capacity.
• Background in the construction industry is preferred.

We are looking to hire an Assistant General Counsel, Asia to join our Legal & Compliance team in Singapore who will report to our General Counsel, Asia.

In this business facing role you will be: (i) providing legal advice and support to our Asia (re)insurance businesses, assisting the General Counsel, Asia in day-to-day activities and delivering projects, liaising with regulators and clients in Singapore and Hong Kong and across Asia to address regulatory and legal queries; and (ii) part of the global team supporting financial crime compliance for PartnerRe Group, with a focus on AML and sanctions. 

The accountabilities

Two principal prioritities for this role:

• (1) Assisting GC, Asia to deliver on key objectives in Asia:
• • identify, manage and mitigate legal, regulatory and reputational risks;
  • enable the business to achieve PartnerRe’s strategic and commercial goals by providing legal expertise in an efficient and effective way;
  • run and manage regulatory / corporate governance and corporate secretarial aspects for PartnerRe entities in Asia.
• (2) Be a core member of the global team advising on sanctions and AML compliance, and supporting regional L&C teams in implementing compliance policies and procedures across PartnerRe. As part of the global team, you will work with the business and support units to manage sanctions and AML risk, by proactively monitoring and communicating legal/regulatory developments, advising on compliance requirements and best practices, and helping to identify and mitigate risks. 
• In order to successfully deliver on these two priorities, the Assistant General Counsel must be able to:
  • provide correct and timely assessment of legal & compliance matters and give customer-focused and solution-oriented advice, while retaining independence as legal & compliance adviser.
  • provide legal research, counsel and support to non-legal managers and employees on various aspects of PartnerRe’s business.
  • provide assistance and support to the company and fellow Legal & Compliance team members on a wide range of regulatory matters, including cyber security and data protection.
  • design and implement processes to address legal & compliance deliverables and regulatory obligations in Asia and as appropriate across the Group.
