· Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.

· Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and corporate governance requirements.

· Supervise the preparation of financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong understanding of Singaporean tax laws and regulations.
• Experience in accounting and tax compliance.
• Familiar in ACRA related registration of businesses in Singapore, including companies, partnerships, and other business entities.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Million) and CRM Zoho.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, ACCA or a related field.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Business Development to achieve Revenue & Profitability Goals. Participate and develop the budget/forecast of the Singapore office
• Strategise to deliver the optimal profitability and utilization of freight space. Establish long term operations direction/objectives and specific strategies and action to achieve them. Setting business and financial goals, devise and implement all marketing and operating plans to drive the performance of the company on profits, market share, product range and service quality.
• Develop business activities, build and maintain excellent client relationship with clients / agents, etc.
• Develop all or any associated services that will maximize value creation, accelerate growth and achieve operational profit and excellence across all functions.
• Effective Operations Management to ensure committed service levels are met consistently.
• Ensure conformity of processes and documentation to company and industry standards.
• Review and enhance processes to achieve business objectives and operational effectively on a continual basis including periodical review of the operations for business process re-engineering.
