Commercial Manager

Overview:

Launched in late 2023, Creation Collective (CC) is an innovative new live entertainment company, which is rolling out a roster of music and general interest events across APAC, as well as developing its own proprietary ticketing and fan engagement platform.

With a strong growth strategy and ambitious plans, CC is set to disrupt the regional industry and provide consumers with a plethora of exciting experiences.

Summary:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develop and oversee budgets to ensure resources are allocated correctly and financial goals are met.
• Oversee financial aspects of events, including budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring profitability.
• Partner with event production, marketing, and sales teams to ensure financial alignment with business objectives and event strategies.
• Support recommendations on sponsorship deals, ticket pricing, F&B and merchandising opportunities.
• Monitor and report on the profitability of each event, ensuring that financial targets are met.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting process for live events, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
• Collaborate with the CFO to assess and manage financial risks, ensuring robus supporting financial planning for all projects.
• Conduct post-event performance reviews, offering insights to enhance future planning and profitability.
• Identify potential risks in commercial agreements and take proactive steps to mitigate them.
• Support contract negotiations and financial evaluations of vendors, suppliers, and partners.
• Prepare detailed reports on commercial activities and present performance reports to stakeholders, highlighting key insights and opportunities for improvement.

• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
• Experience with financial commercial planning software and advanced Excel skills.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Good knowledge of major ticketing audits and reports is an advantage.
• Familiarity with event sponsorship deals, ticketing revenue models, and vendor management.
• A degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field.

Marketing Manager Responsibilities:

• Evaluating and optimizing marketing and pricing strategies.
• Analyzing market trends and preparing forecasts.
• Generating new business leads.
• Increasing brand awareness and market share.
• Coordinating marketing strategies with the sales, financial, public relations, and production departments.
• Developing and managing the marketing department's budget.
• Overseeing branding, advertising, and promotional campaigns.
• Managing the marketing department's staff.
• Preparing and presenting quarterly and annual reports to senior management.
• Promoting our brand at trade shows and major industry-related events.
• Keeping informed of marketing strategies and trends.

Marketing Manager Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, finance, business administration, or similar.
• A master's degree in a relevant field will be advantageous.
• At least two years' experience as a marketing manager.
• Proficiency in electronic marketing automation software such as HubSpot Marketing and Bitrix24.
• Extensive knowledge of marketing strategies, channels, and branding.
• Superb leadership, communication, and collaboration abilities.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong time management and organizational abilities.

Position Summary

This position is responsible for leading a team in the management of warehouse operations to achieve the operations key performance index and the required service standards. This may include managing the warehousing and inventory management system, physical distribution operations, implementing logistics technology, customer liaison and relationship, organization development and training.

Primary Responsibilities

• To lead and manage at least one operation of company’s logistics operations (Warehousing & Transportation) including monitoring and achievement of Operation Key Performance Index i.e. Order Accuracy, Safety, Housekeeping and Security of Operation, Warehouse turn-around-time, Billing and documentation, Inventory Management (Control, Accuracy and level), Overtime Ratio & Labour Productivity.

• Review and management of Revenue & Expense of operations including Continuous monitoring of expenses, Accurate application of revenue, Negotiate and reduce costs on hired contractors, verify and authorize payment(s), Continuous sourcing of contractors,, management & maintenance of assets and maximize profitability.

• Review of Operation status with customers & management on a timely and regular basis.

• Provide management report on operation status and budget figures on a timely and regular basis.

• Manage and Develop the entire operation team which may include; Staff training plan, Recruitment of operations staff, Staff development activity and Ensure efficient communication between inter-departments.

• Managed all related matters pertaining to facility, safety and security issues.

• To maintain good working relationships with customers.

• As required, assist sales team in securing new business, including; conduct of facility tours, presentations on operations, site visits for customers to present capabilities and / or gather data and coordination effort with engineering and IT teams.

Requirement

• Degree in Engineering, Logistics Management, Industrial Engineering, Business or equivalent, Diploma Holders of similar fields are also considered.

• Total 10 years working experience with minimum 5 years in the Logistic Industry, preferred in similar capacity.

• Good working knowledge of the following operations areas – distribution, inventory planning, network analysis, materials management.

• Good Interpersonal & communication skills.

• Strategic thinking ability, proven implementation results.

• Strong written and oral communications skills.

• Experience with customs and regulatory issues related to logistics.

Working hours: Mon to Fri, 8:30am to 6pm
