Job Description:

• Project Management: Day-to-day client servicing, leading team and overseeing the end-to-end management of conference events, including conceptualisation, planning, budgeting, logistics, and execution;
• Client Relations: Cultivate strong relationships with clients, understanding their conference objectives, and providing strategic recommendations. Serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring consistent communication and exceeding client satisfaction;
• Vendor and Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers. Coordinate and oversee their services to guarantee seamless execution and exceptional quality standards;
• On-Site Conference and Events Management: Lead teams in on-site management of events and oversee coordination with vendors, setup, and logistical details (speaker management, speaker registration, rehearsal management etc.) Address any unforeseen challenges and ensure a smooth execution of the event;
• Conference agenda curation: Identify and invite high-profile speakers, ensuring alignment with conference objectives. Research and develop engaging sessions, including scheduling presentation timings and overall conference agenda;
• Budget Tracking: Develop and manage project budgets, track and monitor project expenditures, maintain accurate records of expenses, review invoices, and conduct financial planning/analysis;
• Quality Assurance: Maintain the highest level of quality in conference and events deliverables, including production, audio-visual, catering, décor, and overall guest experience. Drive and conduct post-event evaluations with internal teams and clients, and implement improvements for future projects;
• Industry Knowledge: Drive sales activities through conference event proposals and pitching, including keeping up to date with evolving market and business issues in critical industries;
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and proactively develop contingency plans. Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and regulatory requirements throughout the event planning process;
• New Business: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities. Conduct market research, lead in presentations, and prepare proposals to acquire new clients. Build a strong network of industry contacts to generate leads and foster business growth.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Marketing/Project Management/Business Administration/Communications, or its equivalent) from an accredited college or university;
• At least 5 years of relevant agency experience in commercial B2B conference events management, with a keen interest in business and understanding of commercial drivers;
• Interest, knowledge and experience of the beauty, luxury, fashion and hospitality industry would be a plus
• Proactive and strategic approach to problem-solving, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure. Adaptability and flexibility in managing unforeseen challenges;

Rise Kids and Teens is looking for an assistant therapy centre manager to help with the busy day to day running of our childrens therapy clinic. Minimum 5 years experience in a similar setting preferred and familiarity with Plato software beneficial. Duties & Responsibilities

Reporting to the Project Director, you shall manage the entire effort for construction execution of the FPSO from selection of donor vessel to commissioning and acceptance by the Client. Your responsibilities shall include but not limited to the following job scope:

• Support Project Director by providing required inputs and experience to set the project execution priorities and identify the resources required, deployment schedule and qualification thereof;
• Support Project Director in developing the control budget, identification of risks in execution and meeting the budget, procedures for mitigation of risks and controlling the budget;
• Ensure that project execution is fully compliant to corporate quality and HSE standards including those required by regulatory authorities and report where required.
• Ensure that subcontractors and supplies completely follow these requirements and take corrective actions in case any deviation is observed;
• Provide required reports in true and transparent manner to Project Director and Management on status of the project execution, any deviations and corrective actions taken/ required;

Requirements

• Minimum educational requirements of a Bachelors’ and/or Masters’ degree in Mechanical / Chemical Engineering or equivalent disciplines.
• Direct experience working on FPSO projects.
• Minimum 15-18 years’ experience, with Oil & Gas projects (fixed installations and FPSOs), with significant experience working as an engineering manager.
• Must have prior work experience with medium/ large sized brownfield and/or greenfield projects in the upstream Oil and Gas sector, in a similar role and possess a good understanding of project phases, milestones, deliverables, internal and external interfaces.
• Should have good interpersonal communication skills, structured but not rigid, should be able to take decisions and responsibility, pro-active and should possess good report writing skills.
• Good leadership skills to manage and develop a team.

OVERVIEW

The role of a driver in DAC is to provide safe driving and high standard of safety and care for staff and clients. The driver is also required to assist the DAC’s general office in documents despatch services, logistical transportation and other general works support.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Transport Assignments which includes:

a) Co-ordinate with the DAC general office on transportation assignments on a daily/weekly basis and carry out the assignments by driving assigned vehicle(s);

b) Inform the DAC general office immediately if any of the transportation assignment(s) cannot be carried out;

c) Responsible to send the staff/ clients to and from assigned venue/activities safely and according to schedule of the assignment;

d) Assist the clients to board/disembark from the assigned vehicle;

e) Exercise high level of reliability and integrity in handling and safeguarding of confidential information and cash;

f) Assist staff to carry goods and to provide logistical support during transportation assignments when the need arises;

g) Report any unusual occurrences when carrying out assigned duties; and

h) Comply with LTA/Government Authority’s traffic/parking rules & regulations at all times while executing driving duties.

2. Upkeep of assigned vehicles which includes:

a) Keeping vehicle in good and serviceable conditions at all time;

b) Report any defects immediately & recommend necessary rectification measure(s) where possible;

c) Cleaning and washing of assigned vehicles;

d) Coordinate maintenance, servicing and repair of the vehicles;

e) Obtain quotations for required maintenance, repair & modifications (in compliance to LTA) to the assigned vehicles;

f) Payment of road tax upon receiving road tax renewal notice, cheque and copy of vehicle insurance from the DAC General Office; and

g) Sending vehicles for statutory inspection upon receiving LTA’s Vehicle Inspection Notice.

3. Cover the driving transportation assignment for other programmes/departments (i.e. School/ EIPIC/ HQ whichever is applicable), whenever the need arises.

4. Perform other general works duties as and when assigned by the Management on the days with no driving transportation assignments, e.g. helping in class.

5. Attend and participate in DAC and Association meetings/ activities as and when required.
