About the Role

Zero-Error Systems (ZES) is seeking versatile, detail-oriented Field Application Engineering - Manager. In this role, you will work closely with the sales and engineering team to identify customer needs, develop technical solutions, and ensure the successful implementation and optimization of ZES’ products. Working in a dynamic, fast-paced, development environment, you will also play a crucial role in providing technical support and expertise to customers. This position requires a blend of technical knowledge, customer interaction, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

1) Customer Support and Relationship Management

• Serve as the primary technical contact for customers, addressing their queries and providing technical support.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions.
• Provide effective FAE support to customers for ZES products, through alignment with internal sales teams and engineering team.

2) Pre-Sales Support:

• Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and develop technical proposals.
• Assist in the preparation and delivery of product demonstrations and technical presentations to potential customers.
• Provide technical input for the development of sales strategies and proposals.

3) Technical Expertise and Solution Development:

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive products.
• Develop and customize technical solutions to meet specific customer requirements.
• Partner closely with the engineering team to provide customer feedback and influence product improvements.

4) Post-Sales Support:

• Ensure successful product implementation and integration at customer sites.
• Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting to resolve customer issues.

5) Documentation and Reporting:

• Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation, including application notes, user guides, and technical reports.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, issues, and solutions.
• Provide regular updates and reports to management on customer activities and support issues.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Strong understanding of the semiconductor industry, market dynamics, and competitive landscape in the region.
• Proven experience in a field application engineering or similar technical support role, for Semiconductor components, including Power management IC, MCU/FPGA is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work independently as well as a good team player
• Detail-oriented, with a strategic outlook and a focus on driving results.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and industry events as required.

Review electrical engineering drawings and refer issues requiring changes.

Assign job tasks and work as per electrical project schedules.

Review all electrical drawings with Leadmen performing on assigned jobs to them.

Stimulate fabrication standards to ensure quality work attained from assigned staff.

Recruit, guide, train, monitor and terminate assigned employees as required.

Recommend effective solutions specified particular weight related to employment status of employees.

Schedule, assign, plan and supervise electrical shop personnel performance on different electrical projects.

Plan and prepare work and equipment usage schedule

Job Responsibilities:

Accounting and financial reporting

• Leading a team of Finance staff in daily financial activities
• Monitor day-to-day accounting operations and review work completed by the Finance team.
• Prepare and report monthly, quarterly, and yearly consolidated financial statements to parent company, as required to upload to the group consolidation system.
• Ensure all financial, accounting and analytical reports are prepared according to the management policies and accounting standards
• Manage project cost analytics and reporting
• Coordinate financial strategic planning, analysis, costing, taxation and budgeting activities
• Assist Finance Manager in overseeing month end and year end accounts closing, monthly cashflow forecasting and annual budget preparation.
• Assist Finance Manager in preparing the financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements
• Perform monthly inventory reconciliation and involve in year end stock take activity

Audit, tax and banking matters

• Take ownership on internal and external audits, handle queries from internal and external auditors, tax agent, tax authorities, government authorities and etc
• Prepare detailed financial statements and audit-related documentations
• Prepare and submit quarterly GST reports, annual corporate income tax filing, withholding tax etc.
• Liaise with the Company secretary for corporate finance related matters
• Liaise with bankers for letter of credit, banker’s guarantee etc and respond to bank queries

Others

• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Manager

Job Requirements:

• At least Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• At least 5 years relevant working experience in Manufacturing industry, experience in manufacturing costing would be an advantage
• At least 3 years in supervisory role
• Proficient in Microsoft office programs
• Prior experience with Microsoft Business Central is advantageous
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong leadership skill and high level of independence as well as the maturity and ability to work with staff at all levels.

The Regional Real Estate and Facilities Manager position has the overall responsibility for the company sites including maintenance (preventive and corrective), utility operations, monitoring, implementation of facilities projects. This position requires effective collaboration with management counterparts throughout the company network, and with external service providers and relevant agencies and community representatives. Scope of responsilities also includes facilities support for facilities within the APAC region.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

• Plan and manage all building and manufacturing equipment maintenance for company sites. Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to preventive and corrective building and site maintenance services, pest control and design/implementation of small to mid-size capital projects.
• Set clear performance expectations for Facilities Management (FM) provider, monitoring their achievements, and facilitating continuous improvement.
• Assure safe, timely and high quality execution with proper documentation of all maintenance activities.
• Prepare and organize technical documentation including, but not limited to: Cleaning, Operations and Preventive Maintenance procedures; investigation reports; discrepancy response; corrective actions.
• Oversee and manage the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) used for scheduling and documenting all maintenance activities for facilities, utilities, grounds and equipment.
• Recommend vendor and contract service provider selection, developing the means and measures for selection. Analyze quotes to present options and recommendations. Provide point of control between consultants and the company. Oversee the work of numerous outsourced service providers.
• Prepare and manage operating budgets and track costs and scheduling information for building operations and capital improvement projects. Review all facility related invoices. Ensure operations and projects meet company expectations for quality and costs. Track expenses and recommend cost savings.
• Respond to emergencies 24/7 and lead the resolution of unforeseen problems. Acts as a conduit of information for upper management and communicates with all employees in emergency situations, power or other building service disruptions.
• Lead and manage insurance audits and recommend improvements to meet the requirements.
• Communicate with peers throughout the global Bio-Rad network and industry to share best-practices.
• Foster innovation and a culture of Continuous Improvement within the Facilities organization.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering, Construction or Management discipline, or equivalent work experience in a leadership capacity
• 10+ years of progressive responsibility in Facility Management, with minimum 5 years of supervision/staff management experience
• Well versed in BMS (Building Management Systems) and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
• Ability to mentor, develop and inspire staff to achieve their potential
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to understand and analyze construction drawings, schematics, specifications, codes, and handbooks

Job Description:

• Provide the cost and contracts administration services.
• Carry out cost control to ensure that the Material Procurement Tender Schedule is within the allocated budget as specified by Client.
• Prepare and report financial projection and carry out budgetary and expenditure control of Contractors’ contract prior to commencement of work.

About You:

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying and building related diploma/degree in recognized by Singapore Institute of Surveyors & Valuers and with at least 3 years of relevant working experiences in quantity surveying; or
• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience as a QS / Contract Manager
