Roles & Responsibilities

Providing general administrative support, including filing, photocopying, scanning and organising documents

Maintaining and updating databases, records and other filing systems

Assisting with the preparation of reports, presentations and other documents as required

Performing other ad-hoc administrative tasks as required

Multi-tasking

Requirement

Must have Microsoft Office knowledge (Excel,words)

Minimum O levels or equivalent

Job Overview

The person is responsible for providing legal advice to the senior leadership of Stamford Land Corporation Ltd and Singapore Shipping Corporation Limited, both listed on SGX, and is expected to lead, guide and manage a team of legal professionals, delivering such advice on all legal matters within the respective Groups.

Job Responsibilities

• Providing comprehensive and practical advice on all transactional and legal matters across the Groups.
• Responsible for the management and the successful execution of all transactional matters across the Group.
• Negotiating, reviewing and drafting a broad range of contracts and other legal documents.
• Managing external lawyers on development projects and major transactions.
• Managing all litigation and dispute resolution matters.
• Ensuring the Group are kept abreast of legal, compliance and regulatory developments in the markets.

Job Requirements

• A recognized law degree with at least 10 years PQE. Real estate, hospitality and litigation experience would be an added advantage.
• Called to the Singapore bar or any common law jurisdiction.
• Experience in managing a team of legal professionals
• Working knowledge of the SGX rules and corporate governance matters.
• Strategic thinker and active problem solver.
• Committed and meticulous.
• Commercially savvy.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
