Our Temple is looking for a General Worker to take care of the daily cleaning of the Temple premises and helping out with the daily operations of the Temple.

The applicant should be able to speak, read and write in Chinese as a number of our devotees only speak, read and write in Chinese and most of our documents are in Chinese.

Working hours are 730am-4pm; 6 days a week. Applicant is expected to work on alternate weekends and on Public Holidays as these are the busiest time for the Temple. The salary is $1800 per month and may increase after probation. There are also extra incentives from time to time.

Scope of Work:

1. Remove carton boxes containing items from wooden pallets.
2. Transport carton boxes to nearby designated areas within the facility using trolleys.
3. Prepare the items for recycling/disposal by removing parts of the items and sorting them into separate containers. Seal the containers.
4. Transport carton boxes or filled containers between designated areas within the facility using trolleys.
5. Any other light general labour or simple administrative works as instructed by the Board.

• Duration: 3 months (tentatively December 2024 to February 2025, excluding Public Holidays)
• Manpower Required: 10-20 personnel
• Work Schedule:
  • Weekdays (Monday to Friday)
  • Hours: 9am to 5pm (7 working hours, with lunch break from 12-1pm)
