As a Social Media Design Intern working with the marketing team, you will be required to create visuals and assets for advertising, emailers, social media, flyers, banners and more, as well as bring fresh and creative ideas to the table.

We are currently looking for a talented and dynamic Videographer/Graphic Designer to join our Marketing team. Someone who can dream up, capture, and edit mind-blowing videos that not only look amazing but also deliver results.

Responsibilities:

• Design and execute the entire video production process, from brainstorming brilliant ideas to finished marketing
• Oversee the overall creative concept, use of shots, duration, pacing, animation, visual quality, colour, and music for short & corporate videos, with a good sense of cinematography.
• Provide creative direction and coverage of events (photo-taking and video filming).
• Shooting and transforming raw footage into polished, shareable videos that tell compelling stories.
• Work closely with our team to bring the creative vision to life to deliver exceptional results, meeting development deadlines and adjust to unanticipated changes.
• Possess graphic design skills to complete tasks including video covers, social posts, visual elements, and packaging.
• Ensure that design is consistent with the required branding guidelines and strategic direction.
• Liaise with print vendors for production of marketing materials
• Undertake any other adhoc design work as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Media/Communications, or equivalent work experience in video or film production
• Proficiency in English & Mandarin
• Able to do short-form video content and corporate videos
• Familiar in social media platform such as Instagram,
• Facebook, Tik Tok, Xiao Hong Shu and Youtube
• Proficient in Creative applications (Canva, Capcut, Adobe Premier, Final Cut Pro, Adobe After Effect) etc. (Relevant portfolio of works should be submitted upon application)
• Knowledge in content creation
• Can work both independently and in teams
• Proactive, with a positive and can-do attitude

The graphic designer must possess graphic design skills and creativity. He or she should also be a content junky and in tuned with the latest trends in the industry. The ideal graphic designer should also demonstrate good time management and organizational skills. An eye for detail, the ability to multitask and to churn out multiple artworks within any given day is a must.

Key roles:

•Responsible for producing and editing visual content for the Pentagon Group and its brand platforms

•Works closely with the Marketing Executive and Assistant Marketing Manager to produce relevant content for Pentagon Group and its respective brands

•Works with the marketing team to conceptualize content ideas and campaigns

•Work closely with the Business Development Manager to ideate new F&B concepts for the group’s businesses

Skills and Requirements:

•Position is open to only those with a minimum of 2-years working in a similar graphic design role.

•Familiarity with graphic design software (i.e: Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)

•Having an experience in photography/photography skills is a plus.

•A keen eye for aesthetics and details

•Strong organizational and time management skills – able to jungle multiple deadlines productively and effectively

•Having a sense of responsibility is a must – ability to reply to communicate timely and effectively

•Strong written and spoken English skills

•Up to date with the latest and upcoming trends in the fields of F&B and/or lifestyle
