The role

Now about the role - the designer will provide art direction, illustration and graphic design work across our portfolio of accounts with the following scope of work.

• Providing art direction, graphic design, Illustration and layout of social media content across all formats across ATL/BTL, digital and social formats ranging from static, animation, photography, web development and video productions for our production subsidiary UNMASTERED and our in-house cafe/art gallery Main Street Commissary, amongst other creative properties
• Storyboarding, conceptualising & design of style frames for animation/production content for production
• Ensure output matches the brand intent and messaging as well as the level of quality agency work should entail
• Art direction for all visual communication related work be it internal merchandise projects or photography/production work
• Support the team in matters of conceptualisation and ideation across all forms of social media & creative content
• Regularly present creative campaigns to clients
• Prepare design solutions for internal and external presentations
• Participate in the entire production process to ensure integrity of final product (print, video, or digital production).

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design or equivalent
• Keen sense of aesthetic design, colour and typography
• Have a strong design portfolio (preferably showcased online)
• Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign & Freehand
• Knowledge in Web design is an advantage.
• A good eye for photography
• Being well-tuned to popular culture, new design trends and techniques
• Able to work under pressure and manage workloads effectively.

• Meet with clients to discuss their design vision and understand their requirements and preferences
• Create design concepts and drawings, and present them to clients for approval
• Research and source materials, products, and finishes that fit the design concept and budget
• Plan the layout of interior spaces, considering factors like space functionality, furnishings, and aesthetics
• Coordinate with architects, builders, and contractor to ensure design plans are accurately executed
• Adhere to local and national building codes, laws, and regulations in design plans
• Monitor the implementation of the design on-site, ensuring it aligns with the agreed-upon concept
• Adjust designs and plans as needed throughout the project, addressing any issues that arise
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources efficiently
• Meet with clients to discuss their design vision and understand their requirements and preferencesgn plans

• Design the overall structure and behavior of the system, information flows and workflows
• Test and refine the product through evaluative research, ensuring that the design enables to meet the users’ goals and complete their tasks

Experience in designing landed properties/houses in Singapore. Strong in Architecture, concepts & space

· Knowledge of Photoshop and 3D Studio Max

· Adaptable to Microsoft environment & proficient in Spreadsheet, Words & Powerpoint

· Site coordination and supervisory skills will be an added advantage

• Liaising with any consultants, PE Engineers subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project for necessary submissions;
• Responsible for the production management of the assigned projects, such as to produce drawings, presentation materials, design reports, and other relevant documents which are required as day-to-day design process and deliverables as per contracts of the assigned projects;

• Proficient in computer skills with good working knowledge of 2D & 3D AutoCad
• At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field
• Excellent interpersonal skills with keen attention to details
• Mature and independent with good working attitude
• Working experience in metal/ steel and roofing
• Bachelor's Degree
