What You’ll Do:

• Collaborate and Assist: Support the principal and team leader in project execution, ensuring smooth workflow.
• Design Development: Prepare stunning design proposals using CAD, 3D modeling software, 3D renderings, and traditional drawings.
• Site Visits & Documentation: Collect site data such as measurements, M&E information, and photographs, ensuring all details are covered.
• Design Leadership: Lead the detailed design process, coordinating design elements, materials, finishes, and furniture proposals.
• Project Coordination: Liaise with consultants, contractors, and other teams to bring design concepts to life and meet client goals.
• Tender & Construction Drawings: Take charge of preparing tender documents and construction drawings that reflect the design vision.
• Client & Contractor Interaction: Maintain strong relationships with clients and contractors throughout the construction phase, ensuring the project stays on track and on-brand.
• Quality Control: Monitor the quality of construction and resolve issues on-site to ensure the design is executed flawlessly.
• Creative Problem-Solving: Tackle challenges as they arise and work creatively to ensure smooth project delivery.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: A minimum of 5+ years of experience working on both design and documentation for small to medium-scale interior projects.
• Education: Diploma in Interior Design (Bachelor’s in Architecture is a plus!).
• Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite – and an ability to work with both 2D and 3D design software.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly express ideas and collaborate effectively with teams and clients.

Our client, a renowned Architectural firm, has an opportunity for a Winner to join the Team as an Architectural Designer (Healthcare / Hospitality).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Report to senior architectural designer
• Collaboration in space planning assignments, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, design documentation and construction site supervision for design implementation.
• Plan, schedule and run design activities to meet the project programme.
• Preparation of communicative presentations (in pptx or other media)
• Preparation of coherent sets of design-focused tender drawings
• Coordination with consultants, vendors, contractors, fabricators, regulatory agencies and other collaborators to meet overall project objectives.
• Ensure all designs meet with local regulatory compliance requirements.
• Review of shop drawings submittals and finish samples
• Conducting site observations to monitor construction progress and to ensure that planning and design intent are fully realised at site.
• Contribution to refinement of office design processes

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
• Experience in interior designing in hospitals or any medical facilities.
• Well versed in Adobe, AutoCAD and Sketchup.
• Experience in Healthcare, Laboratory, Nursing homes, Special needs facilities and workplace preferred but not necessary. However, willingness to learn is a must.
• Excel in 3D modelling, visualization, and graphic software; Revit skillset is strongly preferred. (Others include acad, Sketch-up, Enscape, adobe and Microsoft suites).
• Have a keen desire to produce good and aesthetic designs. A good eye for good aesthetics is a plus.
• Familiar with local codes and building practices is preferred, but not necessary.

Job Responsibilities

· Assist Landscape Architect in producing landscape architectural work from concept to implementation in accordance to client's requirements and aspirations

· Creating innovative design recommendations including applicable plant material recommendations

· Understanding of different climates and conditions to recommend suitable planting

· Assist the Landscape Architect in the production of detailed drawings

· Prepare & produce design presentations

· Assist the Landscape Architect in the administration & documentation of projects leading to its completion.

Job Requirements

· Candidate must possess a Degree in Landscape Architecture or equivalent

· 2 years and above of relevant experience with a strong portfolio

· Proficiency in architectural software

· Working knowledge of plants used in design and specifications required to implement the project.

· Experience in green infrastructure, nature-based climate adaptation and/or community-driven environmental projects

· Experience of the landscape planning process and the knowledge of construction detailing in compliance preferred

· Able to work within a team and in a fast-paced environment

· Good working attitude, proactive and conscientious.
