Job Description & Requirements

The incumbent will be responsible for FF&E in all design phases , from design process to project concept , branding , sourcing products, preparing sample boards and producing specification and schedules including to obtain material unit cost reference information.

The incumbent also worked closely with partner and team to ensure designs are in accordance to contractual and Client’s agreement.

The incumbent is responsible to check shop drawings and samples including manufactured items together with team and leading team together with partner

This incumbent is also responsible to ensure budget are meet and FF&E items are sourced up to Client’s expectation.

The incumbent shall assist in overseeing the FF&E designers.

Job Description

· Working closely with design team in concept and design development.

· Responsible to select and prepare FF&E presentation of materials and finishes.

· Coordinating with design team in developing furniture layout, perspectives and 2D/3D renderings.

· Working closely with Design teams to ensure designs are in accordance to contractual and client’s agreement.

· Working closely and assist in co-ordination with consultants and clients when the need arises.

· Ensuring that project assignmenst are completed within the given deadline.

· Preparing full sets of FF&E specifications and documentations for tender & construction drawings.

· Reviewing of shop drawings from suppliers and contractors.

· Attending site meetings and site/factory inspection to review materials and furniture.

· Flexibility in handling multiple projects.

· Assisting in overseeing the work & performance of FF&E designers.

· Able to coordinate, delegate, give feedback, and mentor subordinates regarding their work

Work Experience & Qualifications

· Must possess relevant Degree in Textiles or Interior Design or equivalent.

· Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in FF&E especially in hospitality industry.

· Professional knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office. Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, 3D Max and sketch up will

be a plus.

· PC versatility essential.

· Good understanding of design (composition, planning, materials, details, furniture, and fixtures).

· Good knowledge of drawing preparation and CAD standard, strong organizational skill and attentive to detail.

· Able to interpret specifications and layouts.

· Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

· Must be meticulous, a good team player and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and perform

in a fast-pace environment.
