Patient Service Associates (PSA) provide frontline counter services to patients. PSA is to assist patients by checking patient’s service/order requirement, managing patient queues, handle basic enquiries (e.g. appointment booking) and to provide administrative support to medical technologists and radiographers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for reception of all appointment and walk-in patients at the Diagnostics counters
• Ensure 2 patients’ identifiers (NRIC & Name) are verified for all patients when handling patient registration electronically (i.e. EPIC, LIS, RIS, POS, BSS.) and verifying tests ordered by doctors.
• Accurate appointment scheduling / booking and registration for eligible mammogram patients via Breast Screen Singapore (BSS) portal
• Registration of mammogram patients are done accurately via BSS portal, including updating of patient particulars such as mailing address and contact number.
• Relevant instructions are communicated effectively to patients prior to their procedures/tests, chaperon patients to changing or counselling room where applicable.
• Handle enquiries and provide prompt and courteous service delivery to internal and external customers.
• Responsible for payment collection when assigned to cashier duties and ensure tally of end-of day sales with cash settlement and other transaction records.
• Ensure Medisave Authorization Forms (MAF) are filled in accurately with patients’ endorsement and approval, and all Medisave transactions are captured accurately in EASIPOS
• Accurate application of promotions and discount vouchers appropriately and to validate its utilization via EASIPOS
• Support administrative function to centre in-charge including but not limited to dispatching of lab and x-ray reports, proper record and documentation of courier services.
• Performing duties as assigned by reporting officer
• Meet customer service and quality KPI as determined by department
• Follow up and support reporting officer in handling patient relation issues
• Adhere to policy and standard operating procedure
• Accurate and meticulous in performing cashiering duty when assigned

Additional Information:

Working Hours : 42 hours/week (5.5 days work-week)

Working Location : NUHS Diagnostics Clinics (within National University Polyclinics at the Western region of Singapore)

Radiographer is responsible for the providing prompt diagnostic imaging services to the patient, ensuring patient safety and proper care of equipment. Assist Centre In-charge/ Senior or Principal Radiographer to guide and supervise junior and student radiographers when required.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform general radiographic examinations and/or at least one of the area of specialty including mammography and/or ultrasound and/or Bone Mineral Densitometry.
• Responsible for the safety and welfare of the patient.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment; adhere to safe work practices especially in radiation safety and infection control.
• Ensure proper usage and care for all equipment at the specific diagnostic centre.
• Perform other administrative duties or ad-hoc quality departmental projects/activities as assigned by the reporting officer/ Lead Radiographer
• Apply the ALARA principle for all procedures.
• Responsible for general housekeeping of the allocated diagnostic centre.
• Render prompt and courteous service delivery to external and internal customers.
• Ensure efficient running and operations of their area of responsibility.
• Assist the Radiographer-In-Charge / Senior or Principal Radiographer to ensure quality control procedures are performed diligently.
• Ensure AHPC certification is achieved after one / two years depending on qualification(s).

Job Requirements:

Required Skills and Experience
• Recognized degree in Diagnostic Radiography.
• Professional Licence: R1 license with Centre for Radiation Protection and Nuclear Sciences, National Environment Agency.
• Timely update and renewal of RI license.
• Registration with Allied Health Professions Council.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Participate in continuous medical education and quality assurance programs as directed by Radiographer In-charge / Senior or Principal Radiographer.
• Complete all assigned tasks in an organized and timely manner.

Preferred Skills and Experience
• Mammography and ultrasound experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate in vernacular languages
• Knowledge of basic programming and advanced applications of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of NGEMR, Epic usage and RISPACS would be an additional advantage.

Responsibilities

Critical / Strategic Operations

• Assist to plan and drive Critical / Strategic operations at HQ.
• Assist to plan, drive and implement all required Diagnostic services for new and redeveloped polyclinics
• Assist the co-chairs of the Critical / Strategic Operations work groups to deliver the respective KPIs
• Coordinate and liaise with IT departments to operationalise the implementation of whole of business unit's initiatives, projects and work plans
• To ensure key performance indicators are met within the stipulated timeline.

Project Planning

• Developing project plans, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Resource Management: Liaise on resources, including personnel, time, and budget, to ensure project success.
• Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating potential risks that could impact project timelines and deliverables.
• Stakeholder Communication: Engaging with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives and progress.
• Quality Management: Ensuring that project deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to project requirements.
• Project Monitoring and Control: Tracking project progress, identifying variances, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Budgeting and Resource Allocation: Estimating project costs, creating a budget, allocate sufficient people to the work required

Requirements

• Candidates should have 3-5 years of relevant working experience preferably in healthcare sector, with strong operations management leadership including areas in performance monitoring, process improvement, project management and implementation.
• At least 3 years of working experience in a combination of operations management and project management. Experience in start-up of new healthcare facility will be most relevant
• Possess strong leadership and people management skills,
• Resourceful, strong in decision making, problem solving and communication skills
• Experience in operations in healthcare sector and/or IT industry will be an added advantage
• Excellent organisation skills, able to prioritize tasks and time efficiently, work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• IT skills proficiency in MS Project, Excel, Visio, Power BI and other software will be an added advantage
