REPORTING TO: Wellness Manager

SCOPE OF ROLE: The Fitness Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the fitness centre and co-working space, ensuring the highest standards of customer service and satisfaction. This role involves managing fitness programmes, supervising fitness staff, and contributing to the overall wellness goals of The Initial Sama.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

FITNESS CENTRE AND CO-WORKING SPACE OPERATIONS:

• Oversee and manage all operations within the fitness centre and co-working space, ensuring they meet the highest standards and align with The Initial Sama's brand.
• Ensure the cleanliness, maintenance, and proper functioning of all fitness equipment, co-working facilities, and guest supplies in these areas.
• Regularly monitor the productivity of the operations in all areas to improve stock control systems, procurement, fitness software, daily task rotation, and all the SOPs.
• Provide updates to SOPs, manuals, and workbooks to ensure that all operational procedures are carried out in the prescribed manner.

FITNESS AND WELLNESS ACTIVITIES AND PROGRAMMES:

• Curate and manage all fitness classes and activities for guests and members, ensuring they meet their needs and goals.
• Develop and execute an annual events and programme calendar to enhance the fitness and co-working offerings.
• Maintain exceptional standards for all fitness and wellness activities as per The Initial Sama and Resort brand standards.

SALES AND MARKETING:

• Maximise membership sales by promoting ongoing fitness programmes and cross-selling other business centres.
• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of all fitness treatments, packages, and promotions.
• Participate in and oversee demonstrations/events as required.
• Develop Sales & Marketing strategy including annual calendar of events and promotions together with the Marketing Manager and Director and contribute to successful execution.

GUEST RELATIONS:

• Lead by example by providing a warm welcome to clientele and striving to provide outstanding service.
• Conduct tours for VIPs, journalists, and prospective members acting as an Ambassador for The Initial Sama at all times.
• Initially deal with all guest enquiries, feedback, complaints, and issues ensuring necessary follow-up/action is carried out.
• Create and maintain relations with fitness centre guests through having an active presence in key guest areas.

STAFF MANAGEMENT:

• Lead, train, and develop the fitness team on relevant programmes and procedures.
• Conduct regular team meetings, communicating guest information, resort news, and revenue targets.
• Set appropriate targets for all key areas of operations including receptionists, trainers, and attendants. Evaluate performance regularly and strategise to meet and exceed targets.
• Provide leadership, direction, and support to the employees in the fitness and co-working department to develop a highly motivated team delivering high standards of service in all areas.
• Develop an annual training plan with section heads to ensure all employees are trained and developed to meet business needs.
• Demonstrate a professional demeanour at all times, particularly regarding punctuality, appearance, and general manner.

FINANCE & COMMERCIAL:

• Monitor and analyse daily/monthly financial reports and set short-term and long-term action plans as necessary.
• Monitor KPI reports daily and take necessary actions timely to achieve the financial budget.
• Ensure each staff member's capacity is maximised with proactive incentive schemes and training throughout the year.
• Produce analytical reports on key operating performance statistics as necessary.
• Actively create cost-saving initiatives.

HEALTH, SAFETY & HYGIENE:

• Ensure all health and safety guidelines are adhered to and that all new staff receive instruction as part of their fitness and wellness induction programme.
• Ensure the cleanliness of all fitness and co-working facilities and image are in line with agreed standards and reviewed with key staff regularly.

OPERATIONS/GENERAL:

• Contributing to the overall success of The Initial Sama. Regularly update manuals and workbooks to ensure all operational procedures are carried out as prescribed.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct Primary/Secondary School Maths Lessons in an engaging style;
  Effectively manage students in the classroom, motivate and encourage them to give their best;
• Tailor your coaching method to meet the needs of various student’s competency;
  Assess and monitor the progress of students and set goals for improvement;
• Design, prepare and deliver lessons to teach basic knowledge, techniques, support and enhance learners’ understanding of Maths;
• Prepare and vet teaching materials;
  Planning and developing of teaching resources;
• Marking of assignments;
• Managing students’ portfolio and academic evaluation;
• Establishing rapport with both students and parents, and communicating with parents on students’ academic progress.

Requirements

• A recognised Mathematics or Science-related degree // Relevant education.
• Degree in Mathematics
• Familiar with MOE Primary/Secondary School Math syllabus
• Minimum 2 years tuition center/school experience

Job Summary

Reporting to the HOD, you will raise cancer awareness and education and drive specific call to action. You will conceptualize, organize and execute campaigns to drive public education. You will engage strategic partners and community players to strengthen outreach to both the masses and specific target groups. You will work as part of a larger Community Health team to support outreach and advocacy.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop the partnership and outreach engagement strategy and deepen collaboration opportunities with partners and stakeholders. Pitch with partners for collaborative program(s) that support cancer awareness and conduct engagement activities to continue to engage partners.
• Drive targeted outreach efforts where relevant for cancer awareness and uptake of cancer controls, particularly in reaching the minority communities as well as through corporates.
• Work with the World Cancer Day team to plan and execute large scale public education engagement.
• Support the team for outreach efforts, community and corporate talks etc, and other Community Engagement Cluster events
• Manage procurement and partnership agreements to ensure adherence to official guidelines
• Drafting of reports and project status updates to the management and key stakeholders. Annual report write up for the campaigns. Manage phone calls for events registrations and taking other queries. Conduct post-event assessments and evaluations, including reviews of processes, frameworks, and impact measures, along with the development of strategies to better achieve each programme’s long-term vision and objectives
• Work with the Team to support distribution in the community
• Conceptualize and lead community outreach programmes. Develop and maintain strategic and key partnerships in support of the department goals:
  • Identify and engage new strategic partners
  • Maintain and cultivate long term relationships with partners
  • Prepare the collaborative agreements or MOUs for the proposed collaborations
  • Build up cancer education resources with partners
• Work with the youth team to promote Cancer Awareness, targeted to the youth, by developing the Youth engagement strategy, conceptualising and executing awareness program(s) and the execution of the #NextGenRising, including call to action, where relevant.. This may include:
  • Develop the key visual and message, together with the Committee doctors and the creative vendor
  • Organize virtual and ground activities – webinars, forums, talks, exhibitions and roadshows
  • Work with colleagues in/outside department for collaboration and to seek sponsorships for the campaigns
  • Identify potential influencers/ faces for the various campaigns
• Drive the Community Health Digital platform(s):
  • Plan and execute digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns
  • Maintain Instituition’s social media presence
  • Develop and optimize content for the website and social networking accounts such as Facebook, Insta, Twitter. LinkedIn, TikTok
  • Manage instituition online engagement platform
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns
  • Identify new trends in digital marketing, evaluate new technologies and ensure the brand is at the forefront of industry developments, particularly developments in mobile marketing.

Requirement

• Bachelors in marketing or business management

THE ROLE:

The therapist role is to execute treatment and advises to customer. She must be ready to serve and give professional advice to the customers.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Service

• Receive customers at the lounge/VIP areas
• Provide consultation and follow-up with customers from the last program
• Ensure the customers are comfortable in the treatment room before executing the treatments

Execution of the Treatment

• Ensure completion on the treatment protocol
• Introduce the products used to the customers
• To clear any spillage of products to ensure cleanliness, and to avoid any accidents
• After the treatment, offer drinks to the customer and advise

Aftercare

• To show customers the products that you have used in the treatment, accordingly to the treatment flow
• Share with the customers for any promotions and benefits as a member
• Advise the customers for the next consultation and book appointment. Relay the appointment dates to CSS when customer check-out
• To clear testers, and/or cups after the customer exit the spa.

General Attitude and Discipline

• Ensure the treatments room are well-maintained and ready for before the scheduled appointment
• To check and ensure there are sufficient products, disposals in the treatment room

YOU ARE:

• Customer oriented, result driven, passionate about our brand and challenges, entrepreneurial mindset

YOU HAVE:

• 2 years’ work experience in spa environment
• Certification in CIDESCO, CIPTEC, or WSQ Spa Treatment is a must
• Ability to execute both face and body treatments
• Proven record at attaining and exceeding sales targets
• Good interpersonal skills, independent, driven & possess initiative
• Willing to work retail hours (shift work, weekends and public holidays)
• Passionate about the beauty and service industry
