• Study and fully understand the requirements of company ISO, EHS and subcontracts agreements.
• Liaise, handle and keep proper records in dealing with all related authorities in complying with their respective requirements.
• Conduct regular site audits to ensure compliance with EHS requirements. He is authorized to take necessary actions including issuance of partial stop work order as he and the Project Manager deem fit.
• Handle all accident and incident reports.

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Workplace Safety & Health disciplines
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in construction industry
• Registered WSHO with MOM and registered ECO, ECMO with NEA
• Knowledge of ISO 14001, OHSAS45001, GGBS and CONSAS audit.

Scope of Works:

1. Review and update the Company’s Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) policy and any other relevant documents, as well as WSH procedures, to ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, guidelines and legislations.
2. Perform safety audits and inspections of the Company’s worksites to identify potential hazards and risks through recommending relevant control measures for implementation.
3. Identify and recommend the industry’s best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce work process risks, raise safety awareness, and improve safe work practices.
4. Identify any areas of improvement/weakness or deviations /significant changes in the Company, for recommendation of risk control measures.
5. Conduct In-House training programmes and other safety-related programmes for the Company’s employees to raise awareness of safety issues.
6. Investigate and review all accidents and incidents, including near misses and occupational injuries, to determine root causes, implement preventive measures, and manage return-to-work activities.
7. Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned and/or required.
