Job Purpose
To discharge all duties & responsibilities applicable to all projects under the WSH Regulations & subsidiary legislations, as well as contractual obligations under the assigned projects.
Responsibilities
- Implement company Safety Management System on all project sites
- Assist the Management to organize and promote EHS activities and campaigns to raise awareness among site personnel
- Review EHS Management System and recommend for improvement and ensure continual compliance to regulations and other legal requirements
- Ensure that all statutory regulations, code of practice and company’s Safety Management System are implemented and complied with among project site
- Advise management on all matters pertaining EHS
- Assist the Project Managers to investigate all incidents and record all findings to prevent recurrence of incident
- Establish and maintain a positive EHS environment on the project site
- Act as Secretary of the Project EHS Committee
Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Engineering or any equivalent professional qualification related to Quality, Environment, Health & Safety
- ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018 Internal Auditor Certificates
- Active registration with MOM as WSHO
- Minimum 3 years employment in similar capacity in construction or engineering environment previously.
- Possess good understanding and experience in preparation, review and maintenance of ISO9001/14001/45001 management systems.
- Possess strong and effective verbal and written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Able to work independently as well as a team player to complete assigned goals and targets timely.
- Able to function effectively in construction sites
