Requirements:

· Accredited WSHO and ECO with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the relevant field.

· Possess a Diploma in Engineering or Environmental Health and Safety.

· Demonstrated proficiency in organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

· Capable of leading WSHOs, offering supervision, guidance, and instructions to all safety personnel.

· Sound understanding of government regulations pertaining to Occupational Safety, Health, and Environmental domains.

· Well-versed in OSH/ISO documentation.

• Possess a recognized degree/diploma in Engineering – Environmental/Health/Safety.
• At least 10 years’ experience as WSHO/ECO.
• Provide WSH enforcement support to the Project Team.
• Identify and assess any foreseeable risk arising from the workplace or work processes.
• Recommend / take reasonably practical action to eliminate any foreseeable risk to any person who is at work in that workplace.
• Ensure safe work procedures are implemented to control risk.
• Recommend reasonably practical measures to minimize the risk.
• To enter, inspect and examine at any reasonable time the work place.
• To inspect and examine any machinery, equipment, plant, installation or article in the workplace.
• To enforce site safety practices.
• To organize safety & health awareness program for the site.
• To conduct site safety & health audit.
• To conduct site safety & health meeting and prepare reports for relevant parties.
• To prepare hazard analysis reports.
• To prepare safety & health management programmes and ensures effective implementation.
• To inspect and examine workplace records, certificates, notices and documents kept or required to be kept under the WSHA.

Qualifications:

Job Scope

Plan and inspect based on self-proposed monthly inspection schedule

Identify and address lapses in site conditions, safety system, documentations

Issue, follow-up and close Stop-Work-Order

Investigate incidents

Ensure contractor’s incident report is factual and submitted accordingly to authorities requirements

Response, manage and resolve issues which arises from internal and external stakeholders of the projects

Participate and value add in relevant meetings and discussions of the project

Guide and advise main contractor on Safety requirements

Carry out assignment with external vendors on safety improvements trials when required

Upload of documents (e.g. inspection reports, incident investigation report), photos into a designated system at the required

Update of information into spreadsheets at the required

Prepare monthly report on project safety performance
