Associate Medical Laboratory Technologists (AMLT) are responsible for the daily operations of the laboratory which include phlebotomy, electrocardiogram, spirometry and clinical laboratory work.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily operations of the laboratory
• Perform all procedures in accordance with laboratory standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Perform phlebotomy, Electrocardiogram (ECG) and spirometry in an accurate, efficient and professional way.
• Perform Point of Care Testing (e.g. Prothrombin Time, glucose) and clinical laboratory tests such as urinalysis (e.g. Urine FEME, dipstick, pregnancy), haematology (e.g. full blood count, peripheral blood film, erythrocyte sedimentation rate, prothrombin time), biochemistry (e.g. HbA1c, neonate bilirubin), microscopy examination (e.g. fungal smear, high vaginal swab) independently.
• Ensure specimen identification, processing and storage of test specimens are in consistent with good laboratory practices

• Use of Laboratory Information System (LIS) to perform functions such as result entry, result validation and tracking for outstanding tests
• Ensure all test results provided for clinicians are accurate and reliable
• Ensure analysers/equipment are functioning properly and are well maintained.
• Notify medical technologist/lab in charge when instrument malfunction and make arrangements with BME or instrument vendor to service the instrument
• Notify inventory person in charge when reagents and stocks supplies run low.
• Perform and record internal and external quality controls and calibrations. Troubleshoot outliers in accordance to work instructions.
• Ensure ‘critical value’ are reported to the relevant personnel within 30 minutes

Radiographer is responsible for the providing prompt diagnostic imaging services to the patient, ensuring patient safety and proper care of equipment. Assist Centre In-charge/ Senior or Principal Radiographer to guide and supervise junior and student radiographers when required.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform general radiographic examinations and/or at least one of the area of specialty including mammography and/or ultrasound and/or Bone Mineral Densitometry.
• Responsible for the safety and welfare of the patient.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment; adhere to safe work practices especially in radiation safety and infection control.
• Ensure proper usage and care for all equipment at the specific diagnostic centre.

Overview

As Local Coordinator and as part of the Blended Care Team, you will assist the care management team in developing social activities and interest groups for residents at a physical centre, under the Health District @ Queenstown. This effort is in part to support social-health integration and enhance care delivery in the community.

This role is based in the polyclinic and you will be part of the multi-disciplinary team involved in the care of patients with chronic conditions, specifically diabetes. Overview*

As a Senior Executive/Assistant Manager, you are responsible to support the day-to-day operations of the Care and Call Centre (CareHub) to meet CareHub’s service standards, key performance indicators (KPIs) and deliver a positive customer experience for residents and community partners who reach in to CareHub for support to age well in the community.

You will work closely with stakeholders and the CareHub team including Call Centre Officers (CCOs) who are helming CareHub, to draft, develop and implement requirements (including IT systems) and collaborative workflows and SOPs to bring plans into reality dovetailed to implementation timeline, organisation’s strategies, priorities and national’s directives. Basic Emotional Support

This includes daily routine laboratory work, performing phlebotomy, electrocardiogram and spirometry. MT is responsible to maintain professional care to patients and works closely with NUP and other stakeholders.

Job scope

• Perform patient registration, specimen reception, preparation and packing of specimens
• Perform laboratory analysis (e.g. Urine microscopy, full blood count, HbA1c), operate and maintain instruments according to work instruction.
• Perform point-of-care testing, phlebotomy, ECG and spirometry procedures.
