Key Responsibilities

1. Service Development and Programme Leadership

2. Direct Clinical Services

• Minimum Qualification: Masters in Clinical Psychology (DClinPsy or PhD) or equivalent from a recognised institution. Doctorate in Clinicial Psychology is preferred.
• Must be registered or eligible for registration with a recognised professional psychology board (e.g., Singapore Psychological Society or other equivalent international body).
• Eligibility to practice as a Clinical Psychologist in Singapore is essential.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with children and adolescents, with a focus on trauma, emotional and behavioural regulation, and complex mental health needs. Fresh grads with a passion for community psychologist work can be considered
• Experience in developing and delivering psychological services or programmes for youth populations, preferably in a residential or community setting.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct psychological assessments and develop treatment plans for children and adolescents.
• Experience in providing supervision to clinical staff and trainees is highly desirable.

1. Establish and Develop Youth Mental Health Services

• Spearhead the establishment of youth mental health services within The Salvation Army Children & Youth Group, especially in community settings.
• Develop frameworks for service delivery, including outreach, awareness building, therapy and counselling interventions, crisis management, and psychoeducation.
• Collaborate with residential staff, social workers, and external partners to ensure an integrated and holistic approach to care.
• Design and implement outreach and awareness building initiatives, group and individual therapeutic programmes addressing trauma, emotional regulation, resilience, and social skills.

2. Direct Work

• Provide case management support
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy to youth experiencing general mental health challenges, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and behavioural issues.
• Conduct psychological assessments to guide treatment planning and interventions.
• Develop and implement therapeutic plans based on trauma-informed care and evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and other relevant modalities.

3. Supervision and Training

• Provide in-service training to staff and caregivers in community on trauma-informed care, de-escalation techniques, and youth mental health.
• Support the professional development of the mental health team by providing ongoing peer supervision and feedback.

4. Programme Evaluation

• Establish monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess the effectiveness of mental health interventions and programmes.
• Collect, analyse, and report data on key mental health outcomes for youth within the programme.

5. Community Engagement and Outreach

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

A. SPECIFIC (80%)

• Be certified and trained in skills as an ACP Facilitator and ACP Trainer.
• Facilitate ACP discussions with patients/individuals, families and NHS.
• Document these discussions and the wishes of the patient/individual in the appropriate forms (these may be hard copies or electronic forms).
• Update and liaise with primary care physicians on patient’s advance care plan.
• Coordinate between patients/individuals, relatives, and healthcare team for ACP facilitation and to follow-up with the necessary appointments for them.
• Mentor, train and guide junior ACP Facilitators in ACP case management, documentation and communication skills.

B. GENERAL (20%)

Patient Service Associates (PSA) provide frontline counter services to patients. Job scope

Associate Medical Laboratory Technologists (AMLT) are responsible for the daily operations of the laboratory which include phlebotomy, electrocardiogram, spirometry and clinical laboratory work.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily operations of the laboratory
• Perform all procedures in accordance with laboratory standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Perform phlebotomy, Electrocardiogram (ECG) and spirometry in an accurate, efficient and professional way.

· Bachelor Degree in the field of Social Sciences (e.g. social work, counselling, psychology), with prior experience in related areas such as social care services, aged care services and/or community engagement.

· At least 2 – 3 years of working experience.

· Ability to work independently, adaptable, analytical and a good team player.

· Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, and able to engage with partners and older adults in the community.

· Good organisational, time management, administrative and interpersonal skills.

· Good written and verbal communication skills in multiple languages and dialects is preferred.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with ability to learn new IT systems.

• Job Description
• Deliver a variety of spa treatments.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of therapy rooms, equipment, as well as inventory of products.
• Acknowledge and respond to relevant customer queries, needs and expectations.
• Suggest and promote retail products or additional services.
• Uphold hygiene standards and follow health and safety regulations.
• Provide assistance in running of spa workshops.
• Assist in all reception duties as and when required.
