• He shall prepare a monthly status update for review with Developer but not restricted to the following:

4. Assessment and appraisal of the team of Assistant Safety Managers
5. The review of Main Contractor’s proposed method statement in the areas of risk assessment and safe working procedure, and to verify that they are properly executed on site.

• To keep up to date with changes in current legislation and to bring to the attention of the Project Superintending Officer(s) any relevant new legislation.
• To ensure the notification of the Project Superintending Officer(s) if the corrective action agreed after any workplace inspection is not implemented by the arranged date.
• To vet and endorse the minutes of all safety-related meetings and other meetings as directed by the Developer.
• To ensure the implementation and monitoring of appropriate safety measures in accordance with the Workplace Health and Safety Act.

Requirement:

• Degree in Engineering, Workplace Safety & Health Discipline or related qualifications
• Graduate Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health ( Level -D)
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in the construction industry preferably 5 years with developer/main contractor
• Must be a registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer with MOM and have been practicing as WSHO for at least 5 year
• Must be a registered Environmental Control officer and Earth Control Measures Officer.
• Good communication skills and team player

Overview*

  Review key processes to improve overall key performance indicators/ outcomes in the areas of total customer experience, operational efficiency and optimal resources utilization.
  Track, monitor and make recommendations to achieve excellent customer satisfaction ratings.
  Work closely with Nursing, Operational Support Services and other stakeholders for ward infrastructure and/or building improvement projects to ensure 1) adequate planning of project phases and bed closures to minimize disruption to inpatient operations, 2) user requirements are adequately captured in project specifications, 3) site works are carried out in compliance to hospital standards e.g. infection control, 4) projects are completed on time and within budget.
