This is a full role for an Safety Officer located in Seletar North Link. Our client dormitories services. The Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) is a safety professional who has undergone stringent training in accordance with prescribed mandatory standards that govern the safety, health, wellbeing of human lives and business operative processes within a specified environment.

The WSHO shall possess fundamental knowledge of occupational safety, health and environment management and protecting such from harm and damages.

Key Responsibilities: -

1/ Safety Risk Assessment

• Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments of the workplace to identify potential hazards

2/ Health and Safety Training

• Develop and deliver training programs to employees on workplace safety procedure as necessary

3/ Complance and Regulatory

• Ensure the organization complies with the mandatory health and safety laws, regulatory and local authorities

Requirements

• Tertiary and/or higher institute of education from the engineering field (due to the nature of job aspects, engineering background and exposure is recommended)
