Minimum qualifications:

• Minimum Requirement: Higher NITEC in Service Skills/GCE O Level with pass in English
• Preferred: Diploma in Health Services Management (e.g. Republic Polytechnic Health Services Management Diploma)

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients using TCM principles and knowledge
• Developing and Implementing customised treatment plans for patients
• Communicate effectively with patients and other professionals regarding treatment plans
• Keeping accurate patient records in Clinic Management Software system
• Staying up to date with latest research and developments in TCM
• Maintaining registration with TCMP Board in Singapore
• Work with other professionals to develop novel clinical pathways for patients.

Requirements

Education/Licensing

• Minimum Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in TCM/Recognisable qualification that can be registered with the TCM Practitioner’s Board in Singapore
• Preferred: Subspeciality Interest certification
• Full registration with the TCM Practitioner’s Board in Singapore

Experience

• Preferred: 2-3 years and more as a TCM physician in solo or group practice (preferred)

Salary Range
$40/hr (Depending on exp)

Job Scope

• Ensure medication management in own area of work is efficient, zero-wastage and in accordance with best professional practices
• Review medication orders (medication chart or prescription) for appropriateness and intervenes with prescriber or follows up where necessary
• Ensure medications received by patients are packed correctly and dispensed within target turnaround time
• Ensure that all medication related costs and revenue in own course of work are accounted for and accurately recovered where applicable
• Assign, oversee, and review the work of subordinates in the same area of work
• Ensure that all prescription, sales, supply, storage and distribution of medications, as well as their documentation, comply with legal requirements and relevant regulations established by the relevant authorities
• Precept and train pre-registration pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and pharmacy according to training plan and guidelines
• Attend and provide lectures and other forms of continuing education to pharmacy staff and other hospital employees
• Provide feedback to inform department’s continuing education agenda
• Lead research or quality improvement projects in the department

• Able to commit 3 days a week
