About the role

We are seeking a Mobile Nurse who will have to provide nursing-related support for patients at their homes, including but not limited to vaccinations, health-screening and other nursing procedures. The ideal candidate will have a mindset of continuous improvement and change and will demonstrate curiosity, collaboration and the ability to deal with ambiguity especially in a start-up environment. This role reports directly to the Manager, Mobile Services (Nursing).

Job Description

The successful candidate will work with Dr Gloryn Chia on investigating the interactions between immune cells and cancer cells.

The main responsibilities of the position include
1. Perform or assist in research such as cell culture and molecular biology
2. Lab maintenance
3. Safety lead

We are seeking a motivated Research Officer with experience in cell culture (organoids culture) and molecular biology work. Our team aims to engineer cells to develop immunotherapeutic strategies to target refractory cancer types.

Qualifications

Qualifications / Discipline:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences or other relevant disciplines.

Skills:

• Competency in standard molecular biology and cell culture techniques.
• Demonstrates independence and willingness to learn new techniques.
• Good communication skills and team player.

Experience:

• Experience in cell culture and molecular biology (e.g. PCR, cloning, flow cytometry, western blot, etc.) will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• To develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key corporate and maritime clients.

• To identify new business opportunities with existing accounts by collaborating with clients to develop corporate healthcare solutions to meet their evolving needs, including upselling or cross-selling additional services.

• To actively manage and track the end-to-end sales cycle of opportunities from lead generation to deal closing and contracting, including maintaining an up-to-date sales pipeline and disciplined process of client relationship management.

• To ensure smooth and timely delivery of commercial projects from deployment planning to on-the-ground execution, working closely with internal teams such as operations, procurement, technology, finance, and HR.

• Support acquisition of new clients by working closely with Chief Corporate Development Officer to engage and cultivate potential accounts.

Requirement

• Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or related field

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development, sales operations, or a related role, preferably within the healthcare sector

• Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment

• Knowledge of the Maritime sector and its health and safety regulations is a plus

Working Hours:

• 5.5 days per week, with alternate Saturdays

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Repackaging & Barcoding:Operate Unit Dose Packaging System to repackage medications into barcoded unit doses.
   Perform Quality Control checks on repackaged drugs to ensure compliance with safety and accuracy standards.
   
2. Equipment & Workplace Maintenance:Oversee proper functioning of pharmacy equipment and automation systems.
   Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workplace.
   
3. Inventory Management:Manage inventory within the Barcode Pharmacy and Automated Dispensing Cabinets (ADCs).
   Handle tasks such as ordering, drug distribution, expiry tracking, and reconciliation of discrepancies.
   Plan and allocate bins in ADCs to ensure safe and efficient storage.
   
4. Safety & Audits:Conduct Drug Storage Audit Checks in patient care areas and report findings.
   Ensure safety and compliance during repackaging processes and storage management.
   
5. Automation System Optimization:Create or modify drug bins in ADCs to improve space utilization and operational efficiency.

Purpose:

As a Social Work Associate, you are required to provide emotional and practical support to clients and their caregivers in order to help clients achieving their goals and improve their lives.

Responsibilities:

· Assist the Intake and discharge processes of clients

· Support Social Worker and Case Worker in clients’ progress and intervention plans

· Provide family support and intervention to facilitate clients’ attainment of goals

· Attend to enquiries and provide supportive counselling to clients/caregivers.

· Support groupwork, psychoeducation workshops and other therapeutic sessions

· Assist Social Worker and Case Worker in social reports, incident reports, case recordings, and letters to agencies and caregivers.

· Assist in the planning and administrative duties, including drafting proposal and statistical submission.

· Co-plan and conduct programmes and activities for the month

· Liaise and coordinate with trainers, volunteers or interns for programmes and activities

· Ensure proper upkeeping of clients’ records and database.

· Compile and report statistics to various stakeholders

· Collaborate with and support other SAMH programmes when required

· Conduct new hire orientation and attend to visitors to SAMH programmes

· Any other duties as assigned by SAMH

Requirements:

· Min Diploma in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, or Sociology.

· Passion in working with adults in recovery of mental health issues and their family members

· Able to work with minimal supervision and able to work in a multidisciplinary team

· Have good verbal and written communication

· Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 and other internet applications such as Zoom and social media.

· Applicants who have prior work experience in the Social Services sector and Mental Health field will have an added advantage
