Job Description

As a Care Associate, you will be part of an integrated care team that delivers a person-centered care model for our seniors, including persons with dementia. We aim to promote seniors' independence and maintain their cognitive and physical functions, through targeted programmes and personalised care plans, ensuring they lead fulfilling lives.
You will need to:
- Perform activities for daily living (ADLs), including assistance with personal hygiene, mobility, toileting, diaper changing, and feeding
- Monitor seniors' medical and health conditions
- Facilitate small group activities and exercises catered to the seniors' interests
- Engage seniors, including those with dementia, in meaningful and stimulating activities that promote mental and emotional well-being.
- Perform general housekeeping to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the centres
- Escort and assist seniors during transportation to and from the care centre ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the journey
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- GCE N' or O' Level
- PSLE education certification would require an additional International English Language Testing System (IELTS) certification
- Certificate/ training in healthcare or equivalent
You should:
- Thrive in a collaborative and dynamic environment
- Have a caring, empathetic, and patient personality to form positive relationships with seniors and caregivers
- Have strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Be proficient in Google Suite Applications
