Incumbent proactively seeks out opportunities to improve processes and procedures and demonstrates initiative in resolving problems. Supports quality control/quality assurance monitoring programs, and is responsible for assisting with training of personnel.
• Perform assigned clinical laboratory testing accurately and in a timely manner.
• Ensure the validity of tests results through the performance of established quality assurance and quality control procedures.
• Reagents/Materials/Supplies monitoring
• Ensures maintenance of instruments and equipment is performed according to manufacturer and SOP requirements, and documented according to SOP.
• Comply with regulatory guidelines and Labcorp Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at all times.
• Demonstrate proficiency in applicable computer systems and software.
• Adheres to established Safety policies and Universal precaution guidelines at all times. Maintains a clean, organized and safe work environment. Minimizes biohazard waste. Cleans workstation and materials daily.
• Takes action for the department when additional responsibilities and opportunities are presented.
• Provide laboratory management with a report of activities upon request.
• Attends, as scheduled, department, mandatory, and other meetings and training as required by training matrices
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in a bio-medical, physical or biological science from an accredited college or University and one-year training and/or experience in the specialty in which testing is to be performed.
• Prior experience is good to have in the laboratory environment (flow cytometry, Cell culture, PBMC technology).

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and provide administrative services (e.g., assisting patients with their appointments and making arrangements pertaining to their medical treatment).
• Perform service recovery such as managing complaints from patients.
• Chaperoning of patients to ensure smooth treatment process.
• Provide administrative support for corporate & insurance patients such as letter of guarantee, insurance forms etc.
• Ensure operability of patient hotline and to attend to enquiries from patients and clinics.
• Keep accurate and compete records consistent with regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Organise and prioritise own workload to ensure provision of quality services.
• Demonstrate an organised, effective, and timely approach to all tasks.
• Build and strengthen client relationships to achieve long-term partnerships.
• Develop a thorough understanding of our products and service offerings.
• Meet regularly with other team members to discuss progress.
• Generate progress reports for clients and senior leaders within the organisation.
• Other duties and projects assigned by your reporting officer as required.
