Overview*

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be involved in a multi-site cohort Human Biomedical Research study. You will be based at outpatient clinics across NUHS, at Alexandra Hospital or National University Polyclinics. 1) Subject Recruitment and follow up

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide personalized beauty consultations to clients, understanding their needs and preferences.
• Recommend and demonstrate skincare and products to customers.
• Offer expert advice on skincare routines, application techniques, and beauty products.
• Perform mini facials and hand demo, disseminate product samples, brochures, flyers etc. and assist customers in finding the suitable product they are looking for

A Business Excellence Specialist plays a crucial role in optimising business processes and driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

· Facilitate and prioritise continuous improvement projects aligned with GC Asia strategic goals.

· Works closely with the Senior Quality Management Manager and GC Asia HO team, providing guidance and support to business activities with respect to quality management principles and practices.

· Assist and support the Senior Quality Management Manager in a range of projects to ensure maintenance of quality standards within the organisation.

Job Description

The Centre for Family and Population Research at Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, National University of Singapore (NUS) is recruiting 2 Postdoctoral Fellows for the project. This research project aims to develop an evidence base on the role of gender inequality in shaping women's health in low and middle-income countries (LMICs). Using the life course framework, it endeavours to illustrate a series of novel pathways linking gender inequality and gender-based adversities with the health and well-being of women in mid and later-life. The project's objectives include research publications on the topic, the establishment of a global research network on gender inequality and later-life health, and the production of a policy document containing a summary of key research findings, research, and data gaps, as well as policy suggestions.

The postdoc will work with the Principal Investigator (PI) and Co-PIs to develop multiple research papers. Job duties include, but not limited to, the following:

• Data management and analyses of survey data
• Draft and submit papers (at least 3 per year), as a co-author, for publication in high-impact scientific journals with the PI and co-PIs on the project
• Develop research briefs for public dissemination (at least 1 per year)
• Assist the PI with project management

Qualifications

Applicants should have:

1. A Ph.D. in a social science discipline from a recognized university, preferably in disciplines such as Sociology, Demography, Public Policy, Public Health, Gerontology or Economics.
2. Research expertise in gender, population health, the study of the life course and family demography.
3. Extensive training in quantitative statistical analyses.
4. Good record of publications
5. Strong written and spoken communication skills.
6. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

Competencies

• Skills in quantitative research skills such as regression analyses, longitudinal analyses, multilevel modelling, survival analyses among others.
