Kosmode Health has two business verticals:

Agrifood Vertical: Anchored on our core plant extraction expertise, KosmodeHealth extracts proteins and fiber from Food Processing Wastes or Spent Grains, for formulation into functional food to meet nutritional needs of the Asian population. Our innovation in sustaining health of people without compromising health of the earth is evident in the creation of W0W® Noodles - the world’s only functional food clinically validated to have ‘0’ Glycemic Response, from Barley Protein Fibre extracted from Spent Barley Grains, a by-product of beer and malt production.

Biomedical, 3D Cell Culture segment: Protein isolates, repurposed from food processing wastes, are formulated into Plant Protein Composite (PPC®) bio-ink, the primary component for printing of 3D plant protein scaffolds (e.g. PPC® scaffold) that can be customised to meet growth requirement of diverse range of cells and tissues.

Role Overview

The production/operations coordinator reports to the Factory Manager and is responsible for overall factory management and efficiency of manufacturing processes. This role involves overseeing daily manufacturing activities in the Pilot Plant Factory, sales & logistics operations to ensure production efficiency and timely order fulfilment.

Specific tasks include:

Factory Production

· Manufacturing of functional ingredients, premixes and functional food.

· Factory equipment process optimization, procuring new equipment

· Facility management including all needed certification and licences

· Planning of production schedule through coordinating equipment, labour, and material availability.

· Support development of streamlined supply, manufacturing, ordering & delivering process to achieve maximum efficiency when fulfilling customers' orders.

· Troubleshooting of production issues to minimize delays in production.

· Upkeeping of production records for traceability

· Implement strict sanitization and cleaning procedures after each production while monitoring the production area hygiene and cleanliness

· Setting up cleaning and the maintenance schedule to ensure machinery/equipment are in working condition.

· Adhering to safety measures while operating machineries and equipment

· Establish of any new processing Standard Operating Procedure

· Provide support and coordinate logistic activities of product goods

· Co-ordinate activities and stakeholders to ensure satisfactory delivery of contract services and in-house development projects.

Operations

Academic Qualifications and Availability

Beauty Manager Role:

• Oversee daily salon operations

Main Job Scope:

• To consolidate information/feedback from the consumers, pharmacists, doctors and nurses regarding pharmacy products and services.
• Negotiating best prices with suppliers and also conduct regular pricing survey in the market to ensure competitive pricing of the retail products. Ensure that negotiations and relations with supplier and other health personnel are carried out in a competent and amiable manner with high regard to ethical practices.
• To handle promotional activities including liaising with suppliers, updating staff, product arrangement on the shop floor, circulating promotional brochures to the hospital staff and other post promotional duties.
• To maintain retail product data in various systems, which includes price change, deletion of obsolete information, entry of new products, informing operation staff of new price change and ensuring timely update of prices on the shelf labels.
• To assist supervisor in activities relating to assigning, overseeing and closely reviews the work of Executive on matters regarding return of goods which include proper documentation of goods returned and regular follow up with suppliers to ensure goods have been taken back; item master maintenance and purchasing activities relating to OTC retail products.
• To assist supervisor in activities relating to assigning, overseeing and closely reviews the work of the retail assistant who are responsible for the topping up of the product shelves, merchandising of products, handling customer enquiries relating to the retail products, re-ordering of products and RA rostering.
• To support in monitoring inventory movement, expiry check and to ensure that storage is in accordance with retail SOP.
• To update and maintain catalogue, price change, deletion of obsolete information, entry of new products at various platform and systems including home delivery service station, H&U catalogues and e-commerce platforms if any; informing operation staff of new price change and ensuring timely updates to other departments.
• Ensures that all promotional activities are carried out on time if any, including system setup, liaising with suppliers, updating staff, product arrangement on the shop floor, circulating promotional brochures to the hospital staff and other post promotional duties.
• Responsible for activities relating to item master maintenance including price change, deletion of obsolete information, entry of new products, informing operation staff of new price change and ensuring timely update of prices on the shelf labels.
• Oversee the work of Retail Coordinator on matters regarding customer service, ordering of goods, return of goods (which includes proper documentation of goods returned and regular follow up with suppliers to ensure goods have been taken back); item master maintenance and relevant OTC retail product purchasing activities.
• Monitor and review retail pharmacy SOP.
• To compile product information, track and submit to committee for evaluation.

Secondary Responsibilities and Duties (20%)

• To work with Senior Assistant Manager in preparing management reports to update the supervisor on the financial and service performance of the retail activities in the pharmacies, and other retail outlets if any.
• Involve in Continuing Education programme and Customer Service training courses for the retail pharmacy staff.
• Handle customer enquiries, complaints and requests for special purchases. Treats each patient, visitor and employee with compassion, courtesy and tact.
• Conduct appraisal with staff.
• Assist supervisor in regular and ad-hoc audits to ensure compliance in practice to SOP, and guidelines and supporting the necessary collation of documentations
