[Accounting-related work]

1. Timely registration and verification of receivables and payables, and conduct monthly financial status analysis.
2. Review the accounting documents provided by the company to external parties.
3. Ensure that accounting records and vouchers are compiled and properly stored in a timely manner.
4. Responsible for handling company accounting records and preparing various audit materials.
5. Develop internal financial and accounting systems and procedures, organize implementation after approval, and supervise compliance.
6. Organize the preparation and execution of the company’s financial revenue and expenditure plans, credit plans, and cost expense plans.
7. Ensure the timely payment of various taxes.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree or above in accounting, finance, or related fields.
2. At least 2 years of work experience; experience in finance, auditing, or investment and financing is preferred.
3. Singaporean citizen or permanent resident.
4. Fluent in English and Chinese, capable of using both for work communication.
5. Solid foundation in accounting and bookkeeping.
6. Attentive, patient, responsible, with good communication skills.
7. Strong logical and analytical abilities.
8. Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and other office software.
9. Strong professional ethics, good team spirit, service awareness, and management awareness.

Overview

You will partner the leadership and line managers to provide guidance and solutions in day-to-day people matters and in achieving the long-term goals and objectives of NUHS, Alexandra Hospital and Human Resources.

You will be part of the People Relations team that focuses on building a strong and positive culture, healthy work environment and high performing teams through governing and guiding the employer – employee relationships and other people related matters. This role reports to Manager, People Relations.

Job Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the following:

• Build relationship with stakeholders as a trusted HR partner through professional advice on HR policies and procedures, and employment legislations
• Support the effective, efficient and professional delivery of HR plans, programmes, processes and service through partnership with Centres of Excellence and Group Shared Services
• Guide managers in handling a range of staff matters including performance and disciplinary matters in an objective, fair and transparent manner aligned with the Alexian culture
• Support employees and managers in HR-related enquiries
• Support and facilitate performance reviews, as well as engagement surveys with business leaders.
• Navigate the execution of processes in accordance with policies, obtaining relevant approvals and opinions where required
• Analyse issues raised with consideration of differing perspectives from various stakeholders
• Document information, outcomes and processes, ensuring these are securely stored in accordance with policies and procedures
• Participate in NUHS, MOM, MOH, MOHH, AH, HR projects, events, committees as and when assigned or appointed

Requirements

• Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent from a recognized university
• At least 5 years in human resource function
• Strong interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills to engage staff of all levels
• Resourceful, strong initiative and self-motivated
• Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills
• Sound knowledge of Employment Act and Labour Laws
