a) Ensure that the retail trading and storage areas are clean and tidy
b) Ensure that cartons are not left lying unattended at the retail trading area
c) Dust and clean products and shelves regularly
d) Ensure that the cashier counter is not cluttered
e) Remove wastes in the shopping baskets daily

7. Security
i) Maintain the security of stocks, premise and stored information at all times
ii) Take action to prevent security breaches
iii) Comply with all standard operating procedures on security

(B) GENERAL (20%)

1. Coach and supervise team members
2. Supervise the promoters to ensure that they adhere to the code of conduct
3. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Reporting Officer
4. Involve in work place improvement projects/ activities as and when required

JOB REQUIREMENTS

(A) EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

• GCE N or O level with at least 2 years pharmacy retail experience

The incumbent will be responsible to:

• Provide patient education, troubleshoot and generate reports for inpatient and outpatient studies
• Provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of disorders under general supervision of clinical lead
• Participate in departmental quality assurance initiatives
• Assemble, check, operate and maintain equipment and instruments based on hospital and manufacturer’s established guidelines and procedures

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Medical Technology, Health Sciences or Biomedical Science
• Preferably with relevant experience from accredited facility
• Preferably Certified Polysomnographic Technologist (CPSGT) or with Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification

Job Descriptions:

• Provides good practical skills and to lead a team of patient care assistants and health attendants in area assigned to.
• Provides good individual patient care and services with regards to specific nursing competencies such as doing dressings and cannulating patients.
• Displays confidence and well-versed in briefing patients prior to all radiation therapy procedures such as cannulation, CT simulation, radiation therapy treatment and post treatment.
• Displays competency in providing timely nursing advice to patients and family members.
• Assist radiation oncologists in consultations and be competent in necessary procedures.
• Offers good teamwork and be part of a radiotherapy team in the deliverance of safe and accurate support of treatment to patients within the radiotherapy department.
• Maintain and upkeep equipment and supplies such as emergency trolley, oxygen cylinders, surgical supplies, stationery and blankets.
• Coach new enrolled/ staff nurses and nursing students in learning activities.
• Ensure that high alert medications are properly stocked and stored.
• Maintain and upkeep cleanliness of the consultation rooms and work areas.
• Be knowledgeable in disposal of all matters of waste including sharps, biohazard waste and general waste.
• Contributes actively in the improvement and upgrading of holistic treatment care.

General:

• Liase with department manager, radiation oncologists, therapists and other relevant staff to facilitate ongoing departmental processes such as patient scheduling and inpatient status.
• Manages and keeps track of patients’ laboratory and imaging studies results.
• Provides proper guidance to junior personnel assigned.
• Discharges any other duties as assigned by supervisors and/ or senior manager.
• Participates in continuing education, improvement and other activities of the department.
• Adheres to the Code of Practice with regards to Nursing Board at all times.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide shoulder massage, head/scalp massage (Training provided)
