• Possess basic medical and postgraduate qualifications from the accredited medical universities or medical schools which are registrable with the Singapore Medical Council;
• Must be successfully registered with the Singapore Medical Council and accredited by the Specialist Accreditation Board, Ministry of Health;
• Able to work independently with demonstrated competence in managing patients in a multi-discipline environment; and
• Confident, takes initiatives and a good team player

Position: 6-Month Contract Pharmacy Technician
Work Schedule: 5.5 days, Alternate Saturdays
Salary: $2200 - $2400, with benefits
Location: Novena Hospital ( Govt )

Your Role:

• Unit Dose Repackaging & Barcoding: Operate the Unit Dose Packaging System to repackage medications into barcoded unit doses.
• Quality Control & Audits: Perform QC checks on repackaged drugs and conduct storage audits across patient care areas.
• Inventory Management: Manage inventory within Barcode Pharmacy & Automated Dispensing Cabinets, ensuring medication safety and compliance.
• Operational Support: Oversee automated dispensing processes, conduct system checks, and ensure pharmacy equipment and workplace cleanliness.

Requirements:

• Educational Qualifications: Local Polytechnic Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science OR WSQ Certificate in Healthcare Support (Pharmacy Support)
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Access
• Physical Requirements: Able to lift up to 7 kg and stand/squat for extended periods
• Work Environment: Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility: Willing to work on alternate Saturdays and occasional extended hours
