The National University of Singapore invites applications for a Programme Manager (MSc Programme) position in the Global Centre for Asian Women’s Health (GloW), NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine.

The Global Centre for Asian Women’s Health (GloW), established under the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine (NUS Medicine), was founded as an international platform for transdisciplinary endeavours to address major health concerns over a woman’s lifespan. Our interdisciplinary program is designed to foster scholars’ professional development by working closely with national and international experts in multi-disciplinary areas, such as nutrition, reproductive health, maternal and child health, endocrinology, behaviour intervention, healthy longevity and ageing, biostatistics and epidemiology.

The candidate will report to Prof Cuilin Zhang and support the programme management function in the new MSc Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine programme.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Faculty MattersPrepare the Letter of Engagement letters and process teaching payments for the instructors for each semester. Procure or acquire materials needed for education, and contract with vendors and instructors as needed.
   Provide support to faculty members, with resources from NUS offices and IT systems including Canvas (teaching platform), Integrated Marks Management System (IMMS), student and classroom management (CAS) matters.
2. Overall Programme ManagementEnsure that the programme runs smoothly and effectively, keeping the needs of students in mind while maintaining the integrity of the programme and at the same time, aligning with the SOPs set for the rest of the MSc programmes.
   Deliver service excellence in assisting students in the pgrogramme including course-related matters, all aspects of experiential learning components, ad-hoc academic counselling and student wellness matters.
   Keep data on student demands and feedback on courses to advise the Academic Directors (ADs) and MSc office for constant monitoring and review of programme offerings.
3. Class Timetable Scheduling and Course RegistrationCoordinate, de-conflict and manage all course outlines and timetable matters related to the programme, so as to ensure standardization and that the timelines are properly adhered to.
   Communicate to the students on matters related to their coursework in a timely manner, including preparation of user guides and conducting briefings to the students and course registration matters.
   Prepare the important and necessary information to the instructors on class enrollment, student profile, teaching and assessment guidelines before the start of each semester.
   
4. Student Record ManagementMonitor and track students’ workload and progress, and respond promptly on all student matters including Leave of Absense applications and Academic counselling matters.
   Coordinate the mid-term student feedback sessions. Consolidate the information gathered and monitor follow-up actions.
5. Exam ProcessingTrack and monitor timely upload of marks by faculty members, ensuring zero discrepancy.
   Compile marks and the Board of Examiners’ reports, and process students’ requests e.g. Special Consideration and appels for results review.
6. Student FeedbackPrepare data for the Student Feedback System
   Compile the feedback reports for the MSc office and AD, and monitor follow-ups, if any.
7. Event Management and LiaisonWork closely with other units within the MSc office on office projects and events.
   Any other duties as assigned by the MSc Programme Director

• Bachelor's degree
• High level of written and oral communication skills.
• Experienced, confident, and effective working in cross-cultural settings.
• Meticulous with an eye for detail and keen appreciation of good documentation.
• Able to manage multiple and competing tasks/deadlines well, and with a high degree of accuracy.
• Team player with good combination of high intelligence, emotional and cultural quotient.
• IT savvy, with good knowledge in Microsoft Office applications and learning management system.
• Experience in developing and managing academic programs within tertiary institutions is preferred.

Role Description

Qualifications:

A diploma or higher qualification in any field, preferably in Healthcare, Pharmacy or Medicine.

1–2 years of experience in the Healthcare or Pharmaceutical industry.

Strong knowledge of products, including competitive advantage analysis and sales techniques.

Proficient in call management and building customer relationships.

Skilled in product and supply chain management, along with data handling capabilities.

A valid driver’s license is required for field visits.

You will be involved in patient management, team based care, education, research and audit activities for the benefit of our patients and the clinic. You will also lead a team in providing holistic patient care for our patients.

You will be part of the larger NUHS system playing an active role in developing an end-to-end approach to meeting the challenges of an aging population and increasing demand for medical services.

You shall demonstrate good diagnostic assessment to the patients and perform any other duties as directed by the Head of Polyclinic and NUP. Candidates with leadership qualities will be considered for leadership roles in the organization.

Job Requirements

• Family Physician accredited and registered into the Family Physician Accreditation Board (FPAB) and the Singapore Medical Council (SMC)
• At least 3 years of experience as Medical Officer or similar experience with at least 1 year in Primary Care setting (Polyclinic or General Practice work)
• Good clinical skills and judgment in patient management
• Good interpersonal skills and rapport with patients, caregivers and colleagues
• Willingness to continually update professional knowledge and skills
