AIA Group Limited (“AIA”) and Discovery Group Limited (“Discovery”) have agreed to establish a digital health technology and integrated solutions business (“Amplify”) that aims to transform how payors, private hospitals, corporates and public healthcare systems deliver health and wellness for patients and communities across Asia.
Amplify brings together the best of partners through a combination of Discovery’s globally proven healthcare technology, intellectual property and expertise and AIA’s brand, established market position, distribution assets and decades of well-established leadership and execution capabilities.
Initially focused on serving AIA businesses to help increase new business value and deliver financial benefits, Amplify will over time also serve and partner with other key healthcare system participants including private hospitals, corporates, public healthcare system providers and pharmaceutical and MedTech companies. What you will do
The Senior Cloud Platform Engineer will be part of the cloud platform team and is responsible for setup and operation of Amplify Health’s Cloud platform. The individual delivers bespoke cloud solutions to product engineering and operations team. Works closely with Amplify Health Enterprise Architecture, Technical Authority, Automation, Security operation teams in ensuring that Amplify solutions are based on approved technologies, comply with security requirements and are supportable.
How you would make a difference
The Senior Cloud Platform engineer will work alongside the Product Engineering, Security Engineering and Architecture team.
The senior cloud platform engineer is expected to do the below tasks.
· Proactively ensure the repeatability, stability, resilience, and scale of all cloud services across the organization, and make sure our services are available, cost-optimized and fit for purpose early in the product development lifecycle.
· Provide guidance across the Cloud platform team, acting as a subject matter expert and leading best practice techniques.
· Provide coaching to junior team members to improve their skillset and increase knowledge and set the benchmark of quality.
· Continuously evaluate and integrate new cloud technologies and methodologies.
· Provision of test automation services to assist with software quality assurance.
· Implementation and configuration of DevSecOps pipeline for Infrastructure and application Delivery.
· Own Identity and access management, network configuration, storage within the cloud platform.
· Drive adoption and implementation of strategic Amplify Health technologies and architectural principles.
· Work towards implementation of processes and procedures towards achieving ISO and all relevant accreditations.
- Together with Technology Risk/InfoSec function, ensure effectiveness of Cloud security.
- Contribute in technology selection, define & implement standard design patterns/templates, define, run, participate and manage proof of concepts
What you need to be successful
· Degree holder in IT / Computer Science or equivalent discipline.
· At least 15 years work experience within IT Infrastructure functions with at least 7 years in architecture & engineering role.
· An understanding of architecture design & implementations on hybrid and public clouds with fully virtualized environments (IaaS, PaaS), assessment, migration, and adoption of Cloud services at scale.
· Experienced in Infrastructure as Code, Automation, DevSecOps process and public cloud integration.
· Experienced in DevSecOps tools chain.
· Experienced and knowledgeable about Azure AWS, GCP and other leading public Clouds.
· Having knowledge about Office 365, Windows & Linux platforms; Middleware, Database.
· Ability to drive multiple vendors to support a complex enterprise infrastructure environment.
· Deep understanding of Microservice architectures and working containerizationtechnologies (Kubernetes, Docker).
· Deep knowledge of Developer platform and End user platform engineering.
· Work with internal and external partners, carriers, facility operators and our hardware vendors to design and develop connectivity strategy.
· Strong project implementation background, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
· Ability to work under pressure.
· Strong sense of ownership & self-driven
· Excellent communication skills in English
