The Senior Assistant Manager is responsible to support the COO Office in driving key operational projects within the hospital. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), the Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in streamlining processes, managing cross-functional initiatives, and ensuring the successful execution of strategic objectives. Key responsibilities include:

1. Lead and manage operations-related projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organisational goals.
2. Collaborate with various departments across functions and institutions to identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
3. Develop and monitor project plans to ensure project success.
4. Provide high-quality reports and presentations to support decision-making at the COO Office.
5. Act as the primary liaison between the COO Office and other stakeholders for operational initiatives.
6. Any other assigned responsibilities.

Examples of projects : MOH’s Ensure Safer Systems (ESS), Digital as Default initiatives and general support for administrative duties for COO Office.

Qualification Required and Area of Discipline

• Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent

Job Requirements

• Full or Conditional medical registration with Singapore Medical Council

Overview

NUHS Regional Health System Office works with internal stakeholders and community partners to develop and implement initiatives to improve population health and promote preventive health. Together, we strive to build a healthy and engaged population in the West, empowered to live well and age well in their home and in the community.

The incumbent will be responsible to drive precinct planning efforts to support the development and implementation of strategies and initiatives to enhance the delivery of community care and improve population health in the Western Region. This is to be achieved in close collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders and partners.

Job Responsibilities

1. Track progress of Healthy Precinct projects for Western Region, including translation of strategies to implementation plans with internal and external stakeholders.
2. Develop Healthy Precinct framework elements through close collaboration with respective leads, leading to successful conceptualisation and implementation of elements in the community.
3. Lead in development of Healthy Precincts with internal and external stakeholders; provide data insights and analysis to support implementation of Community Health Plans.
4. Conceptualise and manage pilot projects with internal and community stakeholders to enhance the health ecosystem in the precinct.
5. Undertake any other strategic projects, which may involve working with other departments in RHSO-Ops or other divisions/agencies, including leading and driving Secretariat work for various workgroups.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in any discipline
• At least 5 to 8 years of relevant working experience
• Experience in the Singapore healthcare system and/or knowledge of integrated care models will be advantageous
• Able to think critically and strategically, with strong conceptual and analytical abilities

• Meticulous with good attention to detail and numbers
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities

6. Compile all relevant report and records, carry out daily safety inspection
7. Prepare and submit Monthly safety report as required by the management and client.
