Job Description:

1. JOB SCOPE & RESPONSIBILITIES

The Technical & Operation Specialist reports to the Factory Manager and is responsible for efficiency of manufacturing and overall factory management. He supports supporting day to day manufacturing operation in the Pilot Factory and sales & logistics operation to ensure production efficiency and timely order fulfilment.

Roles & Responsibilities

The Technical & Operation Specialist supports the Factory Manager in overall factory management from production to order fulfilment, including manufacturing operation, processes optimization, facility & machinery maintenance, factory HR/administration and sales & orders fulfilment.

Specific tasks include:

Technical Support

• Manufacture of functional ingredients, premixes and functional food.
• Manufacturing process optimization

You will support the Group Director in delivering a robust innovation system in SingHealth by developing and implementing new innovation programmes and initiatives. Roles and Responsibilities:

Finance Operations, Governance and Control

1. Supports partnering with other function stakeholders in the day-to-day Finance related queries around expense, claims and finance related system queries and issues.

• Conducts assessment and follow-up via phone calls and/ or home visits to ensure smooth coping of patients and caregivers
• Promote and guide positive changes in patient’s lifestyle in the community.
• Monitor patient’s general medical condition during home visit and report to patient’s Principal Doctor or primary care provider and/or community partner where necessary.
• Educate and promote advanced care planning, assist patients and their families/caregivers in planning for and improving end of life care, ensuring that choices are reflected in personalized care plans.
• Document assessments, plans, and outcomes promptly and accurately in the relevant systems.
• Maintain high level contact WX1] with step-down facilities.
• Advocate for patients and their families/caregivers; and form strong relationships with community partners in order to work in the patient’s best interests.
• Partner with various community partners and be able to station within community healthcare posts in Queenstown where residents can be cared for conveniently within their community.
• Support Team Manager and counterparts in team operations.
• Provide consultation and/ supervision on the practice of patient management to junior/ new Care Managers.
• Lead and support the professional development of the team in relevant areas of knowledge, skills and attitudes.
• Develop and review protocols, case management tools and work processes for the improvement of patient care.
• Initiate and/or participate in activities that contribute towards the improvement of patient care.
• Lead and/ or participate in projects.
• Any other duties as assigned by Reporting Officer.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent professional qualifications in Nursing, Social Work or Allied Health.
• 6 to 8 years of experience in nursing or case management or related field in acute and/or community setting in Singapore is preferred.
• Knowledge in geriatric care or palliative care, and experience in home medical care and community will be an advantage.
• Strong team-player, with natural ability to interact with healthcare staff and community partners of all levels.
• Organised, analytical, able to fit different pieces of the puzzle together.
• Pleasant disposition, approachable, with strong interpersonal and relational skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to use local languages and dialects will be an advantage, especially coupled with experience interacting with and managing patients and caregivers.
• Independent worker, with strong initiative.
• Comfortable with ambiguity, unchartered territory, enjoy challenges and problem solving.
• Equipped with basic computer skills in MS Words, Excel and PowerPoint.

The Occupational Therapist use activities with specific goals to ensure maximum recovery and optimal independence of indiviudals with disease or injury. Occupational Therapist deal with the development and maintenance of a person's capacity, throughout life, to perform those tasks and roles essential to productive living, including self-care, daily living, leisure and work. The job scope may require a rotation in clincial duities to varied settings.

The Occupational Therapist must have the general clinical competences below (though not exclusive to this list) and had attained the specific area of competency for their specialty area. Physiotherapists

Physiotherapists help to prevent, assess and treat human movement disorders caused by physical disabilities, trauma or illness. They work with patients to relieve their pain, improve muscle strength, joint range and mobility. They also help to improve patients’ cardiorespiratory fitness and function by increasing their exercise movement tolerance. Physiotherapists help patients to recover to their original physical condition using a variety of techniques such as therapeutic exercise, chest therapy and electrophysical agents such as ultrasonic therapy and electrical stimulation.

Occupational Therapists

Occupational therapists help a person develop and maintain his capacity to perform day-to-day tasks and live more productively. They design treatment programmes for people with physical disabilities, mental and psychosocial challenges. Besides enhancing their physical and psychological functions, they help them live more independently and reintegrate with life at home, work and society.

Diagnostic Radiographers

Diagnostic radiographers work with sophisticated medical equipment and use a wide range of techniques to produce radiographic images of the human body to aid the healthcare team in diagnosing illness or injury. They manage the technology to produce, display, manipulate, transmit and archive radiographic images. The image data is processed using high-end systems to produce complex multi-planar and 3D reconstructions. They will have opportunities to work in specialised areas utilising state-of-the-art equipment such as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional Radiography, Ultrasound and Nuclear Medicine. They also minimise radiation dose to patients, provide care and emotional support throughout the imaging procedures.
