You will be responsible for the following:

Job description

The National University Health System Virtual Care Centre (NUHS VCC) is an initiative where trained personnel provides tele-triage to patients and/or their caregivers. VCC will either provide advice and resolve the clinical question or escalate to the VCC clinician where appropriate. To facilitate the development and evaluation of VCC at NUHS a research team has been established. This team is now looking for a research assistant/associate with experience of conducting research projects to join the group. The incumbent is responsible to:

• Perform audiological and vestibular testing efficiently and effectively. This include PTA, Tympanometry, Acoustic reflex testing, VNG, VEMPs, VHIT, ABR, Oto-acoustic Emissions etc
• Assist in seeing patients for Hearing Aid evaluation and fitting in a busy specialist outpatient clinic setting
• Comply in procedures in areas of electronic medical records system, PDPA and infection control

Job Requirements:

• Masters / Bachelor degree in Audiology
• Experience in Audiology will be an advantage
• Competence in CI management is an advantage.
• Team-player, proactive, dynamic personality and patient centered
• Ability to work as a team in a multi-disciplinary environment with other healthcare professionals
• Keep up to date with the latest in hearing technology, be confident in managing patient's hearing rehabilitation while remaining patient-centered at all times

Job Description:

The incumbent shall be responsible to:

• Coordinate and participate in a variety of duties involved in the operation and maintenance of cardiovascular equipment to provide detailed analysis of cardiovascular functions in the laboratory
• Perform routine cardiovascular tests, including transthoracic echocardiography, treadmill ECG testing, blood pressure and Holter monitoring
• Assist in performing transesophageal echocardiography
• Competent to perform echocardiogram test and prepare report
• To perform Stress echocardiogram investigations including, treadmill stress echo. Dobutamine stress echo. And transesophageal echocardiography test
• Assist with interventional imaging system, such as IVUS, FFE, IABP and OCT
• Assist interventionists in cardiovascular laboratory and record procedure in cardiac reporting system

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Biomedical Science (preferably with specialisation in cardiac technology) & minimum 2 years relevant experience
• Those with Diploma in Biomedical Science (preferably with specialisation in cardiac technology) and/or with relevant experience may be consider for a junior position

You will support the Chief Medical Informatics Officer in the development and implementation of clinical information systems and processes to facilitate the optimal delivery of patient care. You will also be involved in projects related to the clinical information systems and work collaboratively with stakeholders to develop and implement solutions that meet user requirements for clinical orders, medication administration and documentation.

You will help to ensure that the policies and procedures related to our electronic medical records (EMR) system are updated and aligned with both cluster and national policy and guidelines. You will provide support for workgroups and committees at an institution or cluster-level as necessary.

In addition, you will assist to develop and maintain training materials and provide training for users in clinical IT systems.

Job Requirements

• Full or Conditional medical registration with Singapore Medical Council
