Role Purpose and Key Responsibilities
Join RICS as an Event Specialist and play a crucial role in delivering a diverse portfolio of knowledge and competence events globally. Reporting to the Event Manager, you will be integral in ensuring high-quality, efficient, and consistent event delivery across all markets and formats, both digital and face-to-face.
• Ensure all events align with the latest industry trends, are engaging, and delivered efficiently across global markets.
• Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring continuous feedback and improvement in product delivery.
• Handle all aspects of venue and speaker management, including negotiations, technical requirements, and onsite coordination.
• Manage digital event setups, registrations, and real-time hosting.
• Conduct post-event reporting, including budget reconciliation and engagement analysis, to gauge success and areas for improvement.
About You
• Proven experience in event management, including organising conferences, and digital event platforms
• Technical proficiency with PowerPoint.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a knack for negotiation and stakeholder management.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Strong organisational skills and detail-oriented approach.
