Job Description

• The Band 1 – Desktop Technician will provide day to day local\remote desktop support, receive inbound calls, answer questions, troubleshoot and document steps performed to resolve challenges with hardware, software and application issues in a ticketing system. The candidate will also need to facilitate customer resolution for calls and engage their supervisors and managers to ensure operational consistency across all shifts within the IT Support Center. Desktop Support Engineer provides Break Fix, fault diagnosis and resolution. Providing fault analysis to customer’s various core operating systems and platforms, as well be able to provide support and apply desktop fault resolution for the approved application suite. Ideal candidate should have 1-2 years’ experience in Windows Desktop support.

Position Responsibilities and Functions

a) Provide first/second level contact and problem resolution for customer issues.

b) Work with Third Party Vendors to remediate complex AV issues as needed.

c) Provide timely communication on issue status and resolution.

d) Maintain ticket updates for all reported incidents.

e) Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot XP, Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 2010, Cisco Jabber, another authorized desktop application.

f) Should have basic knowledge of Mac operating system, to support Apple pc users.

g) Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot for printers, computer hardware.

h) Performs general preventative maintenance tasks on computers, laptops, printers.

i) Performs remedial repairs on Desktops, laptops, printers and any other authorized peripheral equipment.

j) Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot problems associated with network connectivity, and workstation hardware/software.

k) Broad experience of IT with basic understanding of Networks, Servers, Audio/Visual, Smart Devices and Telecoms.

l) This position requires the ability to work in a project-based environment requiring flexibility and teamwork. Performs other duties as assigned.

Candidate Required Minimum Qualifications and Skills

1. Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
2. CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or better.
3. Minimum of 18 months’ years of IT experience.
4. Windows 7-10, Microsoft Active Directory, utilization of GPOs, MS Office 365, PC hardware installation and troubleshooting, Enterprise anti-virus solutions, Helpdesk ticketing systems.
5. Mobile device management including IOS and Android devices, Enterprise encryption solutions, Windows PC/laptop management via Active Directory.
6. Proven analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
7. Proven ability to multi-task, effectively determine priorities and meet SLA’s.

In addition the Band 1 Technician will mentor and assist Band 0 technicians in their work and provide support to Band 2 Technicians in resolving tickets.

IT SYSTEM HELPDESK TECHNICIAN

(Salary Range: S$3000~S$5000)

Responsibilities:

• 3 days station at client's office for Technical and Desktop support
• 2 days in Office

The Front Desk Executive serve as the point of contact between Tree Art and prospective customers. The incumbent identifies and educate prospective customers on the Company’s course curriculum and supports customers by providing information and assistance with closing.

Main Duties:

• Adminstrative duties in terms of Microsoft Office

You will be working closely with the Service Delivery Manager and other Workplace Technology support team to ensure that all endpoints and communication devices are provision for properly and all incidents and service requests are resolved in a timely manner.

  A shift: 7.30am to 5pm / 7am to 4.30pm
  B shift: 1 to 10.30pm / 1.30pm to 11pm
  C shift: 10pm to 7.30am / 10.30pm to 8am / 11pm to 8.30am
• Working Hours: Rotational shifts
• Location: Sentosa; Monorail pass will be provided

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide courteous and efficient service and if possible to comply with each and guest’s request.
• Ensure that all telephone calls are handled promptly within three rings.
• Be familiar with all room types and rates in the hotel and their availability status; up-sell whenever possible.
• Take ownership of problems, handle guest complaints promptly according to established procedures and then report to supervisor for further follow-up when necessary. Glitch reports are to be written when necessary.
• Ensure guest room security, and emergency and fire procedures; encourage the use of Safe Deposit boxes (El-Safe) and adhere to policies & procedures for their use.
• Be familiar with hotel facilities, functions, major city attractions, and events; provide guests with accurate information as requested.
• Ensure a professional and courteous working relationship and maintain an effective flow of communication with all hotel personnel.

1.Provide First Call Resolution (FCR) technical support via phone and email. Ensure calls are answered and emails are responded in a timely manner.

2.Perform first level troubleshooting on all reported incidents and escalate incidents to 2nd level resolver groups as per work instructions.

3.Furnish and submit timely updates to customers on the status of outstanding issues within targeted Service Level

4.Maintain ownership of cases and follow-up on reported issues until closure and gather accurate and complete relevant information is recorded.

5.Manage customer expectations and notify Team Lead in the event of unusual surge in calls of a specific nature.

6.Handle initial classification/ prioritization of the incidents. Track the progress of resolution and provide regular updates for follow-up actions and incident status.
