We are looking for a Merchant Acquisition Manager (Retail Manager). The Retail business is one of the important channels for DHL to increase revenue (cash) and retail presence in Singapore. The Retail Manager is responsible for developing and implementing our Retail & Access Strategy and to build a strong and profitable network of DHL Express Retail footprint.
Your Tasks
· Formulate strategy on selling DHL products and services to walk-in customer at DHL Express Service Centres.
· Expand resellers footprint and establish trusting and mutually beneficial relationships to tap on the resellers’ network and location to provide DHL products and services to end consumers.
· Review the monthly performance for analysis and conduct service training arrangement.
· Liaison with vendors for the purpose of developing & implementing a strong brand presence (in consultation with marketing) at all retail locations, at the same time, ensuring adherence to company policies & procedures.
· Continuously improve, refresh and revitalize products and services to meet changing customer needs.
· Work with internal and external stakeholders to drive innovation and tools to meet Retail customers demands.
· Lead marketing strategy on DHL products and services to increase new customer acquisition and repeat shipping.
· Management of DHL Resellers partnership in terms of contractual terms, billing and payable commission.
· Provide training to Retail outlet officers on cash/freight collection from walk-in customers.
· Motivate team members to achieve the sales targets that are set monthly. Team manager of Retail Sales team which includes Retail Program Executive, Retail Outlet Officers, Retail Sales Desk Executive.
· Develop IKOs/KPIs with team members and monitor individual performance.
· Conduct monthly review sessions and yearly performance appraisal with all team members in order to monitor and appraise on productivity and achievement.
· Perform Coaching and follow up sessions with all members of the Retail team to monitor development of skills and to identify further areas for training and development.
· Manage the allocation of appropriate resources for team members to achieve Global, Regional and Country objectives and targets.
· Identify training needs and opportunities to develop a highly skilled functional department.
What You Bring
· Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales management or business/retail development, preferably in consumer/service/retail sector.
· Strong business development and sales skills.
· Good organization, planning and operation capabilities.
· Dynamic and self-driven individual.
· Strong analytical skills.
· Strong display of leadership and team management experience.
Preferably with Degree in Business Management/Administration, Supply Chain and Engineering.
