Objective

Based at our client’s location, the candidate will have primary responsibility for leading the on-site team to deliver a high level Facility Management Building Support services in line with our corporate clients’ business needs.

Accountabilities

• Manage all building related technical and service contracts, develop and implement procedures and performance measures to ensure efficiency, accuracy and reliability of work methods and systems
• Manage all 3rd party / subcontractor performance
• Responsible for staff development to anticipate / meet client’s requirements.
• Ensure all working environments meet all requisite OH&S Standards.
• Co-ordinate critical out-of-hours issues & participate as a key team member in responses to emergency situations
• Liaison closely with the client on-site representatives to address problems and/or enhance working environment performance
• Work collaboratively with facilities team colleagues both within the Client location & in the wider Jones Lang LaSalle network
• Provide assistance in general administrative activities and any other duties as assigned by Account Management on a needs be basis.

• Ensure vendors are well-managed, delivering services on time and within budget
• Ensure that vendor procurement processes comply with agreed client procurement guidelines as well as Jones Lang LaSalle best practice

Contracts Management

• Plan and manage all contracts to ensure that they are professionally delivered at the right costs
• Ensure expiry of contracts are well-monitored and re-procurement is initiated if needed
• Ensure contracts are continually assessed to deliver best value to the client

Finance Management

• Actively work to ensure that the site’s financial operations are meeting or exceeding targets and control requirements including the Jones Lang LaSalle Code of Ethics
• Ensure financial processes are followed at all times

Health & Safety Management

• Ensure the provision of a safe working environment
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations on fire, health and safety standards

Site Operations Management

• Recommend continuous quality improvement practices and implement Industry Best Practice operations
• Implement building procedures and performance measures and ensure they are maintained at all times
• Ensure all Critical Environment (CEM) requirements are met
• Review existing operations regularly to reduce costs and improve operational standards
• 24/7 emergency call support and site attendance is required

Risk Management

• Ensure a property risk management program including audits is implemented and maintained
• Ensure disaster recovering and business continuity plans are implemented and maintained
• Ensure escalation procedures and incident reporting procedures are implemented and in place
• Assist in the development of guidelines and strategies to ensure compliance with Jones Lang LaSalle’s business conduct
• Achieve Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreement targets

Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• Bachelor/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Building/Facilities Management or equivalent with a Facilities Management focus is preferred
• A minimum of  5 years experience (3 years for AFM) in Facility Management (Managerial experience preferred) with proven team management experience. Candidates without prior management experience, but with strong leadership skills, will also be considered.
• Strong analytical, presentation, excellent communication and organization skills
• Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety requirements
• Knowledge of M&E systems, Financial & Management Reporting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
• Sound computer skills in Microsoft Office
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple and complex operational matters on a daily basis

Responsibilities:

• Oversee site works and activities, and provide overall leadership to the project teams
• Handle project planning, scheduling, monitoring and updating to meet project completion targets
• Provide guidance to team in project works in terms of quality and safety standards
• Attending all meetings with clients, consultants and subcontractors
• Any other related duties that may be assigned

Requirements:

• Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture / Building / Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or equivalent
• At least 5 year(s) of project management or site management experience in A&A projects
• Independent, diligent, meticulous and highly motivated with excellent team spirit.
• Proficient in use of project management software and tools

Job Responsibilities:
At least 5+ years of IT work experience in the area of infra development putting together and coordination with teams based onsite or remotely would be required.

• · Broad technical knowledge in IT Infrastructure project management. Working knowledge in infra projects, which comprise Linux, Windows, Frames, Middleware, Database, Network, Storage, FW, Technology and Application.
• · Broad technical knowledge in infrastructure technology & related solutions. (Cloud, Network, Firewall, Citrix, Active Directory, Windows/Redhat, Vmware, Monitoring, Storage, Puppet, Graylog, Analysis, etc.).
• · Ability to work under pressure (especially during incident/crisis management). Adaptive to dynamic/volatile environment and know when/how to take control during a crisis.
• · Experience in cloud-based technology and container-based platform would be advantageous.
• · Experience in driving and coordinating end to end from planning, tracking and delivery on regional enterprise-wide Banking related technology projects such as Infra development, IT Infrastructure setup, Datacenter consolidations, Technology refresh, Hardware Migrations.
• · Experience in liaising with regional teams, infrastructure teams, users, vendors, and other personnel for implementation of solutions.
• · Self-motivated, self-organizing and possess drive, ability to be hands-on, strong planning, organizational and time management skills.
• · Holding end-to-end responsibility of program management starting from Project kick-off to Go-live followed by warranty and support.
• · Managing overall weekly and monthly progress reports for ongoing projects.
• · Competent use of presentation and project management software.
• · Excellent written, verbal communication presentation and negotiation skills.
• · Project Management and Agile related certifications advantageous e.g PMP, Prince 2, PMI-ACP, CSM, PSM.
