We are representing our client in the Shipping industry to look for an experienced Senior Vessel Manager. The candidate has the responsiblity for the efficient operation of the ships assigned. As a member of the Ship Management Team, the candidate operate in accordance to the Company procedures and best ship management practices, whilst giving absolute regard to safety of life at sea and protection of the environment always.

Responsibilities:

• Manage regular reports from vessels assigned to him/her and file them in a structured manner.

• Prepare technical specs for dockings etc.
• Pre-purchase inspections in Asia region.
• Assist in carrying out technical analysis for new purchases.

Requirements:

• Min 4-6 years of experience in similar capacity on container vessels (a mix of containers and tankers will be considered).
• Recognised marine engineering or naval architecture qualification either at sea or educational establishment
• Good understanding of shore-based activities and implications surrounding the role
• Able to administer technical and budgetary requirements
• Competent using Microsoft office and other computer software
• Prior experience as chief or second engineer with sailing experience preferably on container vessels. Otherwise, sailing experience on cargo ships (container/bulk carrier/tanker) is required.
• Prior experience in dry-docking.
• Candidate should have good knowledge of Planned Maintenance System (PMS) and Safety Management System (SMS)

• Single point of contact for all partner business.
• Handle complaints from partners in accordance with established internal policies and deliver compliance approved responses to partner when requested.
• Responsible for professional, sound, healthy communication, and relationship with partner.
• Responsible for improving partner business in terms of trading volume, net fee revenue and active number of customers under partner in the market.
• Responsible for proper partner business planning in quarterly basis and execute agreed strategy to grow market.
• Work closely with trade marketing, IB product manager and local conversion/retention team to drive partner business growth.

Are you the one?

• At least 3-5 years of Sales experience in similar industry.
• Must be able to speak in fluent Korean and English.
• Knowledge about the Korean market.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
