Job Summary

This position will support, develop and implement business plans and strategies, to drive sustainable SCX business growth in Asia Pacific region.

Tasks and duties

• Research and analyse regional business potential and opportunities for SCX products, develop go-to-market strategies, sales and marketing activities to increase customers/users’ touchpoints, leading to adoption of Rigaku SCX technology and solutions
• Lead and develop SCX technical expertise within AP commercial team
• Support and manage channel partners (distributors) on all technical and commercial matters, partnership with regional commercial leaders
• Develop regional SCX KOL’s and user groups to enhance and strengthen Rigaku’s SCX reputation and recognition
• Responsible to meet or exceed AP regional SCX Bookings and Revenues targets
• Maintain close collaboration with SCX Global Prod Division and Technical Experts to stay current on latest developments and strategies, align on Global/Regional initiatives where applicable

Education/Experience

• Masters’/PhD degree in Chemistry with major on Structures & Crystallography using X-ray and Electron Diffraction Analytical Techniques
• Minimum 5 years’ working experience in related technical discipline, working closely and alongside commercial team, with high-level of customer-facing exposure
• Strong stakeholders' management, excellent interpersonal and communication skillsets at all levels (both internal and external)
• Fluent in spoken and written English, and able to engage stakeholders and experts in technical discussions around Crystallography and Chemical Structures topics
• Strong business acumen, analytical, agile and attention to detail
• Able to work independently and in a team to complete tasks with minimal supervision
• 50% business travelling is required

[What the role is]

NEA is the lead agency for planning after-death facilities and services in Singapore. The Memorial Facilities and Planning Division oversees the planning and provision of these facilities. You will be responsible for leading the planning and launching of new after-death facilities, and maintaining oversight of the development process. This includes projecting the after-death facility requirements and other after-death trade demands as our demographics change over time.

This role requires close collaboration and consultation with multiple stakeholders, to ensure timely and sustainable provision of such facilities. The candidate must have a good eye for detail and will take on finance and procurement responsibilities.

• Formulate policy and operational strategies to manage disamenities arising from after-death facilities
• Review and develop relevant policies and regulations related to after-death services

Responsibilities:

• Build and execute a strong sales strategy for New Business growth in the territory and achieve KPIs
