This role is responsible for the care management of elderly clients under the maintenance day care
programme, including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care as well
as client education. The main responsibilities include:
• Take charge of the whole clinical nursing practice in the centre and ensure compliance with
approved standards of nursing practices, including the creation and maintenance of policies
and SOPs.
• Perform all general nursing duties to provide quality nursing care and support to clients to
ensure their safety and comfort. Duties include medication administration, wound
management, fall risks and hospitalization procedures, medical emergency procedures,
infectious diseases outbreak procedures and other nursing duties as required.
• Conduct assessments of clients during admissions and periodic reviews, including preassessment of referrals from AIC
