• To be able to assist in teaching appropriate mealtime behaviour and supervise play times.
• To assist the main class teachers in toileting needs of the children. (Bringing the children to the toilet)
• To assist in administrative areas such as typing out various reports (e.g. IEP, Progress Report, Educational Report) to support the main teacher.
• To be able to provide input on children’s progress during case conferences or at any other discussion points.
• Assist with planning, share ideas and exchange feedback with the entire team at least once a month.
• Prepare age and developmentally appropriate teaching aids.
• Evaluate and maintain records of children’s development.
• To render basic first aid as and when necessary.
• Responsible for the upkeep of teaching resources, prepare art and craft materials, arrangement, appearance, decorations, and learning environment of the classroom.
• Use positive discipline techniques at all times.
• Maintain and build relationships with children and parents.

Job Requirements:

• Certification in Early Childhood Care & Education or Special Needs Education is an advantage.

Summary

Provide essential support to the production team in order to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the production process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with production supervisors and line managers to schedule and prioritize various vegetable processing tasks and projects
• Set up, operate, and maintain specialized food processing equipment, such as washing, cutting, blanching, and packaging machines
• Perform quality control checks and inspections to ensure processed vegetables meet food safety and quality standards
• Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and assist with the organization and maintenance of the production floor
• Communicate effectively with production staff, technicians, and other stakeholders to address issues and resolve problems
• Ensure the production area is well-organized, clean, and in compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Provide general support to the production team, including assisting with tasks, running errands, and helping with material movement and handling
• Identify and suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity, and food safety

Requirement

• High school diploma or equivalent, with vocational or technical training in food processing preferred
• 1-2 years of experience working in a food or vegetable processing factory environment
• Proficient in the operation and maintenance of various food processing equipment and machinery
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read and interpret production schedules, recipes, and technical manuals
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality, food safety, and sanitation
• Physically fit to perform tasks that require standing, lifting, and moving materials

Shift Schedule

Full time: 8am to 4pm/9am to 5pm (44 hrs per week/5-6 days)

Part time: 2-3 days per week (cover full timer day off)

Location: East side

• Diploma Holder or equivalent
• Relevant experience working in Shipping Company will be an advantage.
• Passionate about maritime industry and eager to learn.
• Fast learner, attention to details and excellent organization skills.
• Good command of English for veral and written with good grammar.
• Customer oriented and possess good interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Able to start work in short notice.
