The Role

In this role, you will take ownership of preparing, monitoring, and analyzing monthly P&L and balance sheets for retail stores and e-commerce platforms, delivering actionable insights to support strategic business decisions. You will play a critical role in the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, providing variance analyses to align forecasts with actual performance. Additionally, you will review financial deal packs for new store openings, offering key feedback to stakeholders. Your responsibilities include journal postings, audit schedules, bank reconciliations, and supporting daily retail activities such as sales and cash reconciliations. You will also guide the team on fixed asset accounting and work closely with the AP team to ensure accurate payables management. Acting as a trusted business partner, you will collaborate with retail and e-commerce teams to drive operational excellence, manage financial compliance, and maintain alignment with finance SOPs. Furthermore, you will liaise with internal and external auditors, as well as regional and global finance teams, to ensure robust financial reporting. The scope also includes statutory filings, IFRS 16 lease accounting via SLAN tools, stock counts, fixed asset verifications, RBU reporting, and other ad hoc projects, contributing to the organization’s overall financial integrity and strategic growth.

Your Profile

Possess a degree in Accountancy, ACCA, or an equivalent qualification, complemented by 6-7 years of hands-on experience in retail or FMCG environments. Proficient in leading accounting systems such as SAP and Oracle, with advanced expertise in MS Office tools, including Excel and PowerPoint. A results-driven and self-motivated professional with strong business acumen, a deep understanding of international accounting standards, and a proven track record of delivering accurate and insightful financial solutions. Job Responsibilities:

• Support IFRS17 valuation reporting for production and ensure the financials are in compliance with current accounting standards

Job Requirements:

Responsibilities

1. Process payables and post transactions to the ledgers via VIM on a timely basis.

Overview:
Provide system and network administration support to ensure a reliable platform for all IT business applications. Responsibilities include ensuring the efficient performance of server hardware, operating systems, networks, cabling, communication systems, and overall IT infrastructure.
