Duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to our managers and employees, assisting in daily office needs and managing our company’s general administrative activities.

Your responsibilities include making travel and meeting arrangements, preparing reports and maintaining appropriate filing systems. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools, like MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word and office equipment. • Perform routine testing on incoming samples within stipulated holding time, requirement and protocol applicable to requested test
• Participate and pass any required proficiency test and interlaboratory analysis
• Assist in reviewing SOPs, should there be any updates
• Preparation of general laboratory work like media and perform housekeeping to maintain the cleanliness of the laboratory, equipment and apparatus
• Maintenance of small equipment such as balance & pH meter to ensure optimum performance
• Perform all required and tasked internal QC duties
• Convey difficulties and problems to the next level of hierarchy (Microbiologists or Senior Microbiologists)
• Extra tasks and jobs as required by Senior Microbiologists and/or Lab Manager
